Never had an issue. Bills were lower than I ever payed with PG&E. Customer service agent Wayne was an absolute delight to deal with.
This company is so ate up. I was told that my autopay couldn't be started until 45 days into our service. The very first bill that I received on my new account (after moving) stated that it was DELINQUENT and threatened turning off my electric. So, I paid that bill manually and set up the autopay at the same time. Now, my next bill hasn't gone through on the date it was meant to so I was scared about it going "late' again and called the assistance line. The lady on the phone started out friendly and kept repeating the same explanation at least 5 times. I called her Honey (Where I'm from Indiana that is a polite way to address someone who's name you do not remember) and she immediately got aggressive and wouldn't let me speak but she made sure that I knew her name was PAULA. I had to hang up because she wouldn't let me talk or explain any part of my confusion. If you can avoid doing business with this company I highly recommend it because they clearly have no interest in understanding the faults in their own system and are ok with bullying customers into accepting late fees and their own status quo.
Hi, I just got my powe disconnected without any disconnection notice. I called to find out what was going on because my bill was only 139. When I call they told me they added 4,700 to my account for adjustments. They just added it yesterday and turned off my power saying that they had been an adjustment to my account. I spoke with Tracy the Manger who was nice but not helpful. She couldn't explain such a dramatic cost difference. I needed to know the time frame I owed the money and she couldn't explain. I told her I have no documentation of this change and she stated it was because if just happened. I asked her if I pay what is on my bill can she turn the lights back on but she said I had to get on a payment plan. The wanted me to put 600 dollar down. I don't even know what the 4700 dollars is for and they just want me to pay it with no explanation. I have my bill with the correct address and because they made a meter mistake I have to pay a crazy bill! ( I was paying every month for years) the Manger Tracy did not give any help or couldn't explain the bill. She stated that there is no one else to talk to but her and that there is no resolution.
They make it so hard to stop services. This company was so frustrating to work with. Quick to respond. Although frustrating to start and to stop.
I have had a similar experience as others on here and it seems to be a pattern. I received a letter from amp as well saying that my account with them was closed. Several phone calls and hours on hold later they revealed that they allowed someone else to open an account with them using my address. They then sent me a ridiculously large bill and told me not to worry..... They would work with me until it was paid off. They refused to offer a detailed breakdown of the charges. They then shut my electricity off without warning and demanded payment in full plus $200 for a deposit and reinstatement fee. I explained to them that I was one disability and that I had a special needs child but they simply said that they didn't care. They had the notes on file showing the error they made but again they said they didn't care. They just wanted money. I have been with this power company since 2012 and they simply don't care.
