The electrical panel on the side of my house had a fitting that cracked and let rain water corrode the inside to the point where I couldn't reliably juice up my house. Aleco came out, gave me a quote ($5500) and then threw some discounts at me to make things more palatable. They worked hand in hand with the Planning Department and PG&E so when the day came when they were allowed to start, they were ready. As soon as their truck pulled up, the two electricians jumped out and hit the ground running. I've been in heavy construction for 50 years now and was impressed with their work outlook, their ability to work as a team and their efforts to get me juiced up as quickly as possible. I watched them throughout their time here to make sure they weren't checking for YouTube videos on how to install the panel. They didn't need the help. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this experience and would not hesitate to call them again. They completely understood that this was a serious financial burden for an old retiree and made it as easy as possible. That was truly unexpected. They even cleaned up after themselves (something I refuse to do). Many thanks to the owner (Pete) and his two electricians.
My elderly mother used them for a electrical check and outdoor light replacement. The guy came out and told her to buy a new fixture and he would come back out to install it. The very next day she bought it and started calling for the install. Every time she called they told her “Tony” would call her back. He never did. We had to call someone else to install the fixture.
Our address light was out. George came all the way from Sacramento to Marin in a cold morning and found the bulbs defective, but no spares. I thought he would pass the job for the next appointment. To my surprise, he came back in the afternoon with new bulbs and fixed it. Thanks George, job well done!
I am using my son's Google site to post this - my name is Trudy Day. We had Aleco Electric come out to our place for an estimate. The gentleman at Aleco (Eric) was professional and polite. When the man (Jason) came out to do the estimate, he was also very professional, polite and thorough. It ended up that the work which was needed to be done, could be done by us! He explained the simple solution to the situation - and said that he'd hate to charge us for something simple which we could do and explained how to do it. We were so impressed! They didn't even charge for coming out! We now know who we will hire for all of our electrical needs in the future! It's awesome to find professional, polite and honest electricians!!! WE RECOMMEND THEM 100%!
Due to an error on their part they cancelled an appointment I made 5 days in advance and never bothered to notify me. I wasted my time and took time off work from 8-10am waiting. Finally called them and they said there was no way they could send somebody out. I told them that half my house has no electricity and asked if they could see what they could do. Person I spoke to didn't bother to take time to see what they could do, they just said NO and blamed their answering service. They just told me I would have to reschedule sometime next week. I just canceled and called someone else.
