When our main breaker failed and a hot leg melted into the panel, we were suddenly dealing with a dangerous electrical situation and the possibility of being displaced from our home. It was stressful and overwhelming, until Henry from California Power & Light stepped in. Henry responded after normal business hours because it was an emergency and immediately assessed the situation. What really stood out was how he took ownership of the entire process. He leveraged his contacts with PG&E and the city, coordinated everything that needed to happen, and moved incredibly fast. Not only did he arrange the response right away, he reworked his company’s schedule to get a crew to our house the very next day. From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this. Beyond the technical expertise and speed, Henry was simply great to deal with. He communicated clearly, stayed calm, and brought a sense of control to what was otherwise a very stressful situation for our family. If you need an electrician who is knowledgeable, responsive, and truly advocates for his customers, Henry and California Power & Light are outstanding. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism and urgency he brought to resolving a serious electrical emergency.
We had California Power & Light replace some existing fluorescent recessed lights with LEDs and also install a few new ones as well. Henry was great and so was Sal. They were very professional, showed up on time, were attentive about asking us about our preferences and explaining the work involved, completed the project on time ,and ensured everything was to our satisfaction and clean once the project was completed. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
We called California Power and Light to upgrade our whole house electrical in an original 1950s home, including upgrading to three-prong grounded outlets, updating all switches, additional outlets/bathroom vents/lights added, and upgrade to 200 amp panel. Everything turned out amazing and the work was done on time. When I had questions, Henry answered them immediately. The whole team is so professional. Very competitive prices. Highly recommend.
I cannot recommend Henry/California Power and light corporation enough! I had a major electrical emergency, and they truly saved the day. Despite having a full queue, they rearranged their entire schedule to prioritize my case. The work was excellent, and they were incredibly reliable throughout the process. What impressed me most was that, despite the last-minute emergency nature of the call, the pricing was very competitive and reasonable. Efficient, professional, and a lifesaver! I highly recommend Henry and California Power and Light. Several very old sub panels at my apartment complex needed to be replaced to satisfy new property insurance requirements. Henry was very familiar with my request as he had done several other similar jobs. He met with the local city before the project to ensure a smooth permit process, completed the work, and met with the city again for final inspection. And due to his good relationship with PG&E, he was able to easily coordinate with them as needed. I also felt that the cost of the job was reasonable. I super appreciate Henry's knowledge and professionalism as he helped me begin to navigate this new insurance world.
