James Electric did an outstanding job adding an EV outlet, 4-gang outlet to my well pump area and moving a critical circuit to my existing backup power panel. They were prompt in providing a quote and arrived on time to perform the work. Jacob was a delight to engage throughout the entire process. James is solid. We have used him multiple times over the years. Today he replaced our outdoor lighting fixtures. He is always responsive, shows up and gets it done. Tammy schedules for him, and is great too!
I suspect the scope of the job went over the estimate. They stuck to the contract. No worry's, they replaced my old Zinsco panel with a proper panel that is now generator ready. Both of the electricians were competent and professional. Tammy in the office handled everything on the backend. PG&E scheduling and permitting. Flawless execution. Highly recommend.

Highly Professional, Kind, and Worth Every Penny I had an absolutely wonderful experience with James Electric, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the very first phone call, Tammy made me feel confident in their company. She really listens, follows through on her word, and made scheduling easy—no long waits, no stress. When the electricians arrived, they were professional, respectful, and explained everything clearly. I was having a new electrical panel installed and moved from a closet to the outside of the house. Not only was the work done to code, it was done with care. I appreciated being given clear options and honest recommendations throughout the process. Jakob was incredibly kind and easy to talk to—he made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. I was so impressed with the first job that I asked them to come back for additional work. James himself came for the second visit, and he was just as thoughtful and skilled. Bonus: he’s an animal lover, which meant a lot to me because my dogs were barking like crazy, and he was so sweet and patient with them. Their pricing was more than fair—especially considering the quality of service and peace of mind they delivered. I had a really bad experience with a different electrician in the past, and working with James Electric was night and day in comparison. This is a company that not only knows what they're doing but also cares about their customers. I’ll absolutely be using them again in the future.
