We purchased our first home in April 2022. Built in 1976, it came with a long Inspection List of To Do's. Electrical upgrade work was of major importance to us prior to moving in. KR Electric was recommended by our plumber and the rest is history! In the past two years, we have consistently returned to them for ALL our electrical needs. They are professional, friendly, exceptionally well priced, and transparent in discussing our needs. Kevin (owner) and Matt (right hand man) are truly ROCK STARS IN THE ELECTRICAL FIELD. Thank you both for always taking care of our needs.
I am a Realtor so I have the opportunity to hire the same Vendors over and over again which gives you a much better overall understanding of the quality of a vendor's work over the long term. Kevin is my absolute #1 favorite go-to Electrician. He has not only replaced the electrical panel at my own personal house, but in several others that were needed by my clients. His prices are excellent and he shows up when he says he will and does exactly as he promises to do. But I am also reviewing KR Electric because something happened today that I was a witness to and I think it demonstrates the kind of ethical and caring person he is. There was a car accident on Hwy 680 where a teenage boy spun out and wrecked his truck, and Kevin stopped to help even though he was not involved. Not only did Kevin prevent this kid from getting struck by another vehicle, but he also assisted in calling for help and even gave a hug to this complete stranger who was crying and completely freaked out. I don't know about you, but that is the kind of contractor that I want to hire to work on my jobs and in my own house. I recommend Kevin and KR Electric with TEN stars.
Maybe they "provide responsive, accurate and professional service" but definitely NOT "within your budget". Their quote for a 240V socket and a 13' conduit line from the existing electrical panel was over the top. And I don't need to just write about it, I know it because Willow Glen Electric came from 40 miles away and installed it for 45% of the price within the budget of $1200. And they say support local business. No, shop around! I gave it two (2) stars because they were responsive, came to my house unlike some other business and the sales person was nice.
