I paid 25k for my electrical upgrade and new panel. They over promised and under delivered. Items requested and promised were not installed. My home was left with holes (I paid extra for patching) and the job incomplete. They took the easy route and did not do things right the first time. Buring smell in my home Fire Department out several times and they did not respond timely or sent out emergency Technician as they live too far. Carelessness ruined several personal items that the have yet to replace. Months later I still do not have the sign off from the city and now they are dodging my calls!!! Spoke to the owner Matthew Spoonhour several times then he stopped answering. If you want your home respected and the job completed DO NOT USE MR. ELECTRIC OF CONCORD!!!!
I’ve wished for lights hung in my backyard, with its own switch and anchored to our beautiful redwood tree. We hired Mr. Electric of Concord & are so happy we did! Huge shoutout to the techs Zac & Darrell who made my vision come to life. They both displayed the utmost professionalism & integrity in representing Mr. Electric of Concord. At one point I wavered from my original plan & together we patiently worked through it. They went over and above my expectations by also making several much needed repairs with outlets, etc. You need electrical? You need no worries with Mr. Electric of Concord! I’ll definitely use them again!

It’s rare these days to see a team work so efficiently while also being so respectful and kind in someone’s home. What truly set this company apart was their honesty and integrity. After the work was completed, Mr. Electric discovered they had made a billing error that resulted in us being overcharged. They proactively called us to let us know, and the very next day they personally dropped off a check at our home for the difference — which was hundreds of dollars. I had previously sent out for a quote to multiple other electricians to get my EV charger installed at the house. One of the first quotes I got from another company came back at $3,000, and thank goodness I knew that was a rip-off. I sifted through a few more quotes until Mr. Electric came along and gave me a much more reasonable quote and ensured me that the placement and the job would be rather easy, so he could give me a deal. Elias, who I initially worked with on the quote, was extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful and knowledgeable. I'm extremely happy with the final product, and Marlon, who installed it, did a phenomenal job and was just as friendly as Elias. I cannot recommend Mr. Electric in Concord enough: absolute great service and great people with affordable pricing.
I had Elias from Mr. Electric of Concord out to my house today for an estimate, and it was one of those rare service experiences where you immediately feel like you’re in good hands. He took the time to really walk me through everything. Not just what needed to be done, but the risks, tradeoffs, and different ways to approach it. I never felt rushed or talked at. He gave me options, explained them clearly, and was completely transparent on pricing. He’s also just a genuinely good person to have in your home. Professional, thoughtful, easy to talk to, and clearly takes pride in his work. What stood out most is that he treated it like a partnership. He wanted me to understand what was going on so I could make the right decision, not just move forward with whatever was easiest. Once we aligned on the scope, he got it scheduled for the very next day. That level of responsiveness is not something I take for granted. Overall, I walked away feeling confident and taken care of. That’s not always the case with home services. Elias is the real deal, and it reflects well on Mr. Electric.
