We were charged a service fee for the visit, which we paid, but this was never disclosed ahead of time. $150 for 30 minutes. During the appointment, we were only given a rough verbal estimate (~$2,000) that included work we didn’t ask for (drywall), and no formal quote or breakdown was provided. The electrician also didn’t open up or fully assess the light, despite us sharing photos of the space in advance. Overall, it felt like there was very little value provided during the visit. Clear communication about fees and a more thorough assessment with an actual quote would have made a big difference. Based on this experience, I’d recommend others confirm all fees and expectations in advance
We just had QLR electric replace our recess fluorescent lights throughout our kitchen with LED fixtures. Dennis was on time, knowledgeable, prepared, completed the job today with no issues, and cleaned up when finished. In 2015 had them install some GFCI outlets to bring house up to code. A simple job but they were professional and reasonably priced. Because we liked their work we used them again in 2018 to install a new outlet on the exterior for the front of the house. Again we were pleased with the work they did. No complaints.
Diagnosed and solved the problem in under an hour. Good price. Would absolutely call Dennis again.
