We called them out on an emergency basis this morning to our mobile home where the electrical supply was arcing and disappearing bit by bit and finally completely died after they arrived. They coordinated with the park maintenance and completely rebuilt our electrical system on the outside. All the problems we had have now gone completely. Very relieved and happy with their service. Would fully recommend to anyone for any job.
I had a very disappointing experience with Schafer Electric. The final cost of the project ended up being THREE TIMES what it should have been, significantly exceeding the expectations set at the start. Throughout the process, the communication was poor. I was rarely kept in the loop regarding the timeline or the mounting costs. The owner is rude. To make matters worse, the actual quality of the work was inept. For the premium price they charged, I expected professional results, but the execution was sloppy and lacked the technical expertise you would expect from a licensed contractor. I would not recommend their services if you are looking for fair pricing, clear communication, or competent electrical work.
Electric Panel on my house had to be replaced. All of the Schafer employees that I communicated with were helpful, responsive and understanding about the delays caused by PG&E as well as the County. Schafer electricians who came to my house were on time and clearly explained all of the requirements and challenges of the project. And they always cleaned up before leaving.I would highly recommend Schafer.
