I needed a new electrical panel for our house. I inquired from yelp and shortbar responded with a very detailed e-mail. David came to the house and looked at the job. After the visit, he sent us an email with a more detailed plan on how project will be done. From permit to finishing the work. He explained in details. He recommended that we upgrade our panel to 200amps and dedicate circuits to our appliances that draws a lot of electricity. He routed the ground where its safe and almost un noticeable. Shortbar does things the right way. You can feel his passion and he takes pride on his profession. Short bar communicates very well. I don't remember calling and never got a call back to answer my questions. Towards the end of the project, David is like a friend to the family already. Worked with David from Shortbar after getting competitive bids from several providers on a panel replacmeent - his pricing was one of the best, but what differentiated David the was most was that he came off as honest and trustworthy on the work that was needed to be done. I hired Shortbar to help with a home electrification project: a new induction cooktop that would help with my decarbonization goals in replacing my gas range. The work included new wiring routed through my home to reach the cooktop site and a new breaker to accommodate the new amperage. I really liked the way David approached the project thinking about other appliances I may be adding to the panel later as well as making the work in scope safe and functional.
