These guys are great. I had taken my SUV to a body shop for repairs and when I got it back the backup camera no longer came on when I put it in reverse. I took it back to the body shop and they looked at it for 45 minutes, not to mention damaging the carpet in the back. After trying a few things they gave up and told me to take it to a car stereo shop because it was an after market system. I went by The Car Stereo Company and made an appointment. When I got there to drop of the car the guy took a quick look and within a couple minutes had found and fixed the issue. It was a broken wire running to the back up light that triggered the camera. The body shop must have broken it when doing the work on the car. Kudos for the fast find and fix.
My third successful visit to this company! First was to replace my old Prius radio/cassette with a JVC Carplay unit. Second was to install aftermarket Blindspot Monitor, requiring a bunch of rewiring. Later a small service station replaced my brake light and messed up the CSC's wiring; CSC repaired it at no charge (I'm not a Karen). Today they added some wiring so I could connect an inverter to use my car as a generator in case of PGE failure. I *could* do it myself but they did it right. Nice guys too.
New post Nov 19 2020. This is my latest update...5 out of 5 holds on my second vehicle install. I purchased online special large display android system for my 4x4. They installed it perfectly. Including the cameras front and rear. I am very happy with the quality of work. Nice attention to not scratching my dash and the running of wires worked out well. 2 year old post. This is a small shop with a couple of talented car audio entrepreneurs. I bought a sony 2xDIN , backup cam, new antenna. They fixed the install appearance and antenna problems I had from a redwood city store years ago. I like that they handle the warranty for the items you buy from them. Many make you go to the manufacturer yourself once the sale is over. Not a store with a hundreds of items bought in bulk, stocked and push on you. Instead it's more like a shop that only carries the small variety of items with today's most desired features. Items that work well enough they choose to support. They have fees for installing things you buy online. But going there to see the features will most likely provide you more confidence to purchase something from them. Almost forgot to mention they installed a little device so my original steering wheel radio controls function with the system.
I went here a few weeks ago in hopes of getting a nice sound system. After installation was complete I decided it was not up to my standards sound wise. (Not because of anything the installation team did). I decided after purchase I wanted 2 12 inch subwoofers instead of 1. I came back to discuss further options and the team here was very helpful, professional, and accommodating to all of my requests. I know my request was not easy but they took care of it in a timely manner. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is not certain about what they want to buy and has questions or is knowledgeable and already knows. The team here is 10/10.
Excellent service..what more is there to say...The crew is super friendly, respectful, and straight shooters. Had a few different power drain issues and they diagnosed my problem and took great care of my problem. 5 stars, all around.
