I highly recommend David for EV charger installations. I was extremely impressed with David's professionalism and honesty throughout the entire process. He provided all information upfront, including potential obstacles and associated costs, ensuring there were no surprises. His work was fast and efficient, and I appreciated the cleanliness with which he completed the installation, leaving the area as if he was never there. Most importantly, the quality of his work is excellent. He obtained the necessary permit, met with the inspector, and advised me on the best type of EV charger to fit my needs and home's electrical setup.
We had an amazing experience with David from Tinpa Electric. When a fuse blew on a Saturday night and started arcing—taking out half the power to our house—we gave him a call. He let us know he was booked up for the weekend but promised to be there first thing Monday morning. Sure enough, he showed up right at 8 AM on Monday, quickly pinpointed that the sump pump was the culprit and not our main panel. He had everything safely running again in about 15 minutes. Plus, he was friendly, informative, and very affordable. Now we just have to deal with that sump pump, but that’s another story!
New update: Great service! Had an issue with the main house breaker where an infamous “Zinco” breaker went out. David was able to come out and take care of it the following day! It has been working great ever since! This is a very small company, everything is run by David and his wife Helen. They are really wonderful people, super friendly. We asked for a EV charger installation. It was reasonably priced and the installation was very clean and laid out very nicely. We did run into some issues due to the house age and he had to come out a few extra times, but he was really patient and made sure everything was right and up to the customer’s standards. What really surprised me was he asked for my feedback at the end, showing he is willing to work with his customers and is constantly improving his business.
We've had nothing but positive review for David. He's extremely knowledgeable, and great at communicating to us during the job. He's also very thorough, and takes great pride in his work. We'll definitely reach out to him later when we need electrical services.
