Héctor from Voltex was the most responsive of the companies I reached out to and was able to come out for a small job (fuse blown in circuit breaker and bathroom light fixture troubleshooting). He showed up on time and was very communicative prior to appointment. Hector is friendly and my dog and kids were very comfortable around him 😃. He was quickly able to assess each issue and advise on repair/replacement. He had to go to Home Depot for one part but came back with no time wasted and quickly made the necessary fixes to our circuit breaker and bathroom light. All around 5 star experience and very reasonable price for the service. We will definitely keep Hector as our one and only electrician when things come up at our house.
I originally contracted with Hector for 2 electrical projects. First was a panel replacement. I’ve been frustrated with contractors in the past because of lack of communication. Hector was always good at answering my calls, returning texts, and keeping me informed. He obtained necessary permits and did his work professionally for a reasonable price, so I hired him again to wire our shed. Again, professional and responsive. One area for improvement would be for him to pay more attention to what the customer says. Some electrical work had been previously started with Romex installed through the studs. I told him it would need to be replaced with flexible conduit per code. After he started working, he was again installing unprotected Romex, thinking I would be covering it with Sheetrock. I pointed out that I had included conduit in the written scope of work, and he made the change with no additional charge or complaint. I’ve since used Hector for some additional work as he’s become my go-to contractor for electrical projects.
They have done an amazing job. Hector came to our house saw our electrical panel situation. He explain to us the problems then he gave us his solution. Within a 3 days he start to work and install a new electrical panel. He guide us through the process to with the meter release. Now our got our meter release and we have electricity.I couldn't have thank him for helping us get through the process. I will recommend him to others and if I need him again with any other electrical problem I will reach out to him.
Hector installed our EV charger and upgraded our electrical panel. He and his team were here all day and were so professional - they even put plastic up and taped off our entire kitchen to maintain the dust when they cut the drywall. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We appreciate his work and will be using him for future projects in our home. Thank you!!
