I hired Handyman Johnny to install a whole house water filter system in my garage, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The plumbing work is top-notch: the pipe placement is clean, and the soldering is professional and neat. He also went above and beyond by filling in some concrete on the side of the house while he was here. The system is working perfectly; I uploaded photos of the pre-filter to show just how much dirt was coming into our house! We can definitely feel the difference, and the water has essentially no taste now, which is exactly what we wanted. Good price, great skill, and very reliable.
We had a leaky bathtub that had been bothering us for weeks and a friend recommended Handy Johnny. So glad we called. Johnny came out to our place in Hayward, took one look at the problem, and walked us through exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost before he touched anything. No surprises, no upselling, just honest and transparent from the start. The price was very competitive compared to other handymen we'd contacted in the East Bay. He got the bathtub repair done fast, was clean and tidy the entire time, and left our bathroom looking better than he found it. You could tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right. That was about six months ago and the repair has held up perfectly. No leaks, no issues at all. We will absolutely be calling Johnny again for any home repairs we need done. Johnny came and helped out with installation on ceiling racks. We had a great conversation. He was all around great guy. He is amazing, he removed my old stove and literally replaced it with a cooktop and a dishwasher 🥹 like who does that? (Refer to the pictures) I mean who bakes anymore anyway right? Also he painted my entire condo in 3 days by himself, like wow 😯 different colors every room. Sorry I don’t have any of the before pictures 🤷🏻♀️ I really wish I did so could see the difference. I reached out to Handy Johnny to install a refrigerator water valve on the wall and cut a bit of the marble counter top. We needed this done in order to install a new refrigerator. He provided us with a better solution and installed an ice maker box and the granite counter top was perfectly cut. We were very impressed with his work and the work was completed faster than estimated. We definitely recommend Johnny for any handyman tasks.
