Ray Trejo did an excellent job repairing a wall for me. He was punctual, professional, efficient, and friendly. And, the job price was very reasonable. I will definitely be requesting Ray at Kaminskiy Care and Repair Handyman Services the next time I need wall repair, and/or other handyman repair services.
Celso was great! We scoped-out the project together, agreed on a plan-of-action, and did a trial on one section of flashing. The result was not to Celso's standards and we agreed the original plan would not work. So, we changed gears and I asked Celso to just remove the rotted flashing, and I would either leave the foundation as-is or paint it. Celso was efficient, professional, and a great ambassador for Kaminskiy. I will definitely consider Kaminskiy for more home repair/care projects.
Kaminsky Care and Repair did several jobs for us recently. Job #1 - Our outdoor spiral staircase and upper deck needed a serious "facelift". There were many areas of rust that needed attention and the railings needed to be filled in where they had chipped. It definitely looks a whole lot better now! I just wish a little more care was taken to prevent dripping of the paint! Job #2 - The lights for our patio cover needed to be connected to power. It sure is nice to have lights outside now. Job #3 - Four lighted bathroom mirrors needed to be connected electrically and then hung. The power sources were readily available and required lots of steps, including a trip to the attic. In one bathroom, the wall had to be cut, which was then sheetrocked and repainted. Although the mirrors all look great, a little more care was needed to avoid sheetrock ending up in the sink. Now that the paint has dried, it could probably use a further touchup. Overall, I don't have a problem with the work. However, their infrastracture needs serious help! Their business model sounds good on the outset, but does not work efficiently for the consumer. No one comes out to look at the job and do an estimate. I sent a series of pictures and gave an honest description of the extent of the job (as a non-professional). Our deck project was slated to take only 1 day (it ended up taking 4) and the "$100.00 of materials" was closer to $300.00). Once they send a worker over, they look at the job and have to first go to the store to get supplies. Yes, they bring back the receipt, but a markup is included. Jobs are estimated to take much less time than the reality. If work is not completed on the same day, it is not very easy to have the same staff member come back the next day. You need to be able to turn your own schedule around to accomodate theirs if additional days are needed. It definitely was frustrating at times working with this company. In the end though, I have new light up mirrors, lights outside, and a deck/staircase that is not showing many signs of rust.
Dairain did a great job with the electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects. He checked with us on the options and worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner.
