Reliable, skilled, and easy to work with. Johncaleb helped us tackle several projects in one visit and handled each one with care and attention to detail. He offered practical solutions, and took the time to make sure everything was done right…and quickly. Communication was excellent, the work was high quality, and everything was completed exactly as promised. It's hard to find someone who is both highly capable and genuinely trustworthy with your home. We were impressed from start to finish and will definitely be calling Sebastopol Handyman again.
With Johncaleb, it's not what he can do, it's if there's anything he can't do. Over the past couple of years we've hired him to do several projects, including: *Repurpose an antique garden bench into a kitchen shelf *Install garden irrigation and repair existing irrigation *Snake a drain line *Move and replumb a sink *Install a closet organizer *Paint *Install a new toilet *Replace hammers on a 5' flail mower *Graft fruit trees *Install a home security camera *Replace a hot water heater *Tractor maintenance and repair Johncaleb's biggest strength is his ability to figure something out if he doesn't know how to do it already--odds are he probably does, though. His carpentry skills are top notch and he always works cleanly. I can't recommend him highly enough!
Johncaleb was fantastic—quick to respond, easy to work with, and did excellent work fixing our broken window and a few other repairs. Everything was done efficiently and with great care. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience working with Johncaleb, the Sebastopol Handyman. He helped us design and build sturdy garage shelves, and the final result came out even better than expected. He was punctual, thoughtful about the layout, clearly experienced, and paid close attention to detail. The shelves are solid, level, and built to last. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled handyman in the Sebastopol area, I’d absolutely recommend Johncaleb.
Johncaleb just recently fixed our deck door, which turns out to have been improperly hung by a contractor. He realigned it so that it no longer was wearing out the rubber gasket along the bottom. And he restored the latch to working smoothly, instead of being something of a wrestling match. Over the years, he has fixed so many things for us. He always been thorough, efficient, and wonderful to be around. He has been a godsend.
