We bought new curtains for our living room and bedrooms. We called UAO Santa Clara Handyman to install them. they were very nice and did the work very efficiently, left the place totally clean even though they had to drill holes in the walls. They were courteous and friendly and charged a fair price. We definitely keep their number for further needs.

I called this place for fixing a plumbing issue. They referred me to a guy I believe is named Sean. This guy called me and said he would charge me 129$ for visiting my place and giving me a quote and they will use it for the service. Other such businesses quoted a flat 300$ for the job on the phone. But this guy called me twice and was very polite addressing me as sir. So I asked him to come over . He came over and quoted 350$ for the job and if I don't take their service I lose the 129$. I told him I already had a quote from a similar place for 300$ and if he would match the offer. He said it is the company price and he was addressing me as friend now as opposed to the sir in the beginning. I asked a few more things to be done and decided to go with him which he agreed to. Next day he called me and said that the earliest he can do the job is 3/4 days. It felt like a delaying strategy as he knows now that if I wanted to have the job done sooner he gets to walk away with the initial payment. In a couple more days he sent some guys over to my place. They took a look again (remember he visited my home to give a quote?) and realized they had to shut down water to the entire home to fix the problem. Then he called me and asked 60$ more for the same job which he agreed to do for 350. He also suggested the quote 350$ does not include the initial 129$ that he robbed from me. I decided to not give him the job because I didn't want to have him visit my home anymore. It was clear this guy is a shady character. Please stay away from this place and spread the word.
