Thorough and knowledgable! I initially contacted Chris for a general service appointment of a wall heater. He was flexible in deciding the date and we were actually able to arrange an earlier scheduled time. Chris went above and beyond checking all mechanisms even to the point of accessing the attic for any origin point issues. I've been a satisfied and repeat customer of Chris Levering for almost 10 years. We first hired Chris to remove and replace an aging furnace from our 1918 Craftsman style home (in winter no less) and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Fast forward a few years later, we moved and needed to replace the industrial 1930's era furnace from our new place. Didn't think twice about hiring Chris and we're again super happy with the results. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and is willing to share his smarts over the phone first instead of having to make an in-person service call. He recently coached me through a thermostat replacement exercise that saved my bee-hind with the wife and my wallet $. Chris actually helped me fix the problem over the phone, and he did not have to come out. That was just so nice of him. Chris did the impossible by getting my old furnace back up and running. After weeks of freezing in my home and blowing multiple fuses from space heaters, Chris saved the day. Other technicians had given up previously and just tried to sell me a new furnace. Chris pointed out that a new furnace install would be very problematic and expensive. He carried the complex multiple parts that were needed to repair my furnace and breathed life back into what was believed to be a dead furnace. I would highly recommend him.
Chris saved us! It was a day in the high 90's and our compressor wasn't working. He arrived in a few hours and quickly determined the problem! The next day (I was having really bad HVAC karma!) we had another problem and again, he came back right away and determined the issue and resolved it. He has expertise and responsiveness!
