Had the best experience with CCH&AC! From start to finish they were extremely communicative, friendly and accommodating to all my requests regarding schedule. And on the day of install, it was the same. Not only did I have great commmunication with the office personnel but it was kept going with the qualified men who came out to perform the work. They kept me gave me an explanation of what they were doing throughout the whole process and never once did I question their skill. I'm sure they have lots of great installers, but I think I lucked out with the 2 most wonderful guys ever, Oscan and Jairo! They ran into a couple of obstacles and never got frustrated. On the contrary, they went into "let's-figure-this-out" mode and in no time they were on their way out the door after completing a perfect installation in under the anticipated amount of time anticipated to do the job - AND - with leaving not a trace of debris behind! I would HIGHLY recommend this company for many reasons, but since communication, quality-of-service, and cost are on the top of my list, I'd have to say you just can't go wrong with these guys! I'm very satisfied and admittedly I'm a "teency bit" hard to please...lol

Raji one of their Heating Consultants came by our house today to provide an estimate for Installing a Heatpump. He was extremely prepared, had researched the house upfront with rough understanding of what we already had in place before showing up. He reviewed our existing Gas Furnace, its age, our electrical and desired location for a potential new install. Unlike other sales folks I who have visited, he had a balanced view, not aggressively trying to sell us the most expensive option they could offer, he provided multiple options, listed the pros and cons, offering a pragmatic view towards which accounted for our existing infrastructure and budget. A helpful neighbor with your best in mind. Looking forward to work more with him and his team!

Had a really good experience with Contra Costa Heating & Air Conditioning. We went through their Costco partnership and had a new HVAC system installed in late Oct / Nov 2025. The install was smooth end to end, and the crew was professional, punctual, and easy to work with. They also removed an old thermostat and patched the drywall. The first patch wasn’t great, but I called them back and they sent someone out who fixed it properly. The wall looks good as new now. After the install, I noticed some uneven temperatures between zones. They came out, checked everything, and confirmed the thermostats were reading accurately. They even offered to replace them. I ended up resolving it myself by adjusting the system’s circulation settings, which improved airflow and evened things out. On pricing, their initial quote came in higher than a few other vendors. That’s mainly because they use higher quality equipment and components. When I asked other vendors to match the same setup, the pricing ended up pretty close anyway. Contra Costa also offers strong guarantees on workmanship and parts, which gave me more confidence going with them. If you’re just trying to get the cheapest install possible, they’re probably not the right fit. But if you care about doing it right and getting a solid system that will hold up over time, they’re a great choice. Overall, very happy with how everything turned out. The system is working well, and they were responsive whenever I needed follow-up.

Claudio is a very knowledgeable and empathetic service advisor. He patched the problem, and offered insight on future solutions if this patch doesn't work.

Edit: two stars because I feel bad, but I literally don’t live in the area and have never called them… I did not consent to texts and have never communicated with this business, but I got a text with a family members name. If you’re using those data sourcing websites to gather your info, I would say that’s pretty unethical.
