Great experience with Iris Mechanical for our heat pump install. Super professional and easy to work with. Install was clean, on time and the system is really quiet. They took care of permits and rebates which was huge. House feels waaaay better now. Def recommend these guys
We worked with Iris Mechanical to replace our old gas furnace with a heat pump. From start to finish, the team was so professional and thoughtful. Nick did an excellent job of communicating the process and giving us all the options before we landed on one that would work for us. These guys do not cut corners. They are very detailed and do high quality work. Their team took about 3 days to install the new system (we had no prior existing ductwork), and everyone on the team was so considerate the entire time. Others have said it before, but this is truly one of the best contractor experiences! And of course, we are enjoying our heat pump as well.
IRIS team did a great job replacing my gas furnace with a heat pump. They are friendly and professional. Happy with their work, I later asked them to do a maintenance /repair on another AC system. They did an equally great work. Highly recommend them.
Among bids for a full HVAC replacement; Iris Mechanical’s estimate was more thorough and a better value (I chose a 3-ton Bryant variable-speed heat pump). I felt the installation quality was excellent. Their office handled the HERS and city inspections and rebate submission with good communication making the process quite simple. The install hit some snags like outdated thermostat wiring and a neighbor on vacation but the crew didn’t cut corners, or pad the bill, and the system’s been running great since. In hindsight I would have researched more how variable-speed units interact with the thermostat (with only two stages exposed) — might have changed which unit I picked. Not a big deal. Solid value and craftsmanship overall, would highly recommend.
We recently switched to a heat pump and overall couldn’t be happier. The hose feels more comfortable, the temperature stays consistent, and it’s way quieter than our old system. Definitely feels like a solid upgrade Only downside, the rebate check took forever to arrive, so don’t expect that part to be quick 😅
