I had a great experience with Jose and his brother. They were honest, professional, and focused on solving the problem in a practical way instead of jumping straight to the most expensive option. Jose took the time to explain what was going on, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the approach. They got our system up and running again quickly and at a very reasonable cost. What stood out most was their integrity. I’m really grateful I found them. We had an unknown issue with our AC the week before a heat wave. JC was able to get us on their schedule the next day after calling. They quickly diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor). They didn't have the correct size on the truck since it was larger than normal and even went back to their shop to see if one was on the shelf. They did not, but returned the following day with the correct part from the supply store, installed, and got our system back to normal. I really appreciate that they took the time to get the correct capacitor and didn't just throw in one of those universal capacitors (better reliability). Most HAVC companies I've seen would have just done that and avoided the two extra trips (or charged you for them). The two technicians were professional and the final invoice was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in Benicia.
We had JC Heating and Air install our Heat Pump System. They were extremely professional and $1,000’s Cheaper than other quotes. We have had them back for routine maintenance and always been pleased with their attentiveness and quality. We recommend them to anyone that is looking for HVAC services. Most recently we had a control module fail while still under warranty. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the part in a timely fashion. 5 stars!!!
Had someone other company come out the other night and tell me that my unit must be low in Freon from a leak since nothing got cold after looking around. Didn’t put any gauge on it to monitor pressure. Also told me that I needed a new ac as you can’t get 410A anymore and everything needed to be replaced. Called JC Heating and Air to come out and recharge with 410A as they had some available and when he arrived and put pressure on the system to check had a full system. Diagnosed the compressor as bad and replaced it on the spot. Excellent customer service and explained the entire process. Worked on his day off to help us out when he didn’t have to. Jose and David were incredible and we’ll use them for all AC related issues going forward for us and anyone who asks and needs assistance. Great experience.
Make sure you get the correct JC Heating and Air Conditioning! These guys out of Benicia and Concord are the best! From my initial call for an appointment to their completion of the work the same day, they are a high quality company. Punctuality, technical knowledge, pricing, and cleanliness was appreciated.
