We had a great experience with North Breeze on a full HVAC replacement and zoned system installation at our home in the Santa Cruz mountains. What really set them apart was their engineering mindset. Several other HVAC companies we spoke with felt much more sales-driven and were quick to dismiss questions. North Breeze took the time to think through system design, airflow, and zoning behavior in a much more thoughtful way, which made a big difference in both our confidence and the final outcome. Their communication was excellent throughout — responsive, clear, and willing to engage with detailed questions as we worked through decisions. After installation, we had a specific question about how one of the zones was behaving, and they came back out and spent several hours diagnosing and tuning the system to make sure everything was working as intended. That level of follow-through really stood out. Four months later, the system is working well and we feel confident in both the install and the support behind it. They were one of the only companies we spoke with who seemed genuinely interested in getting the system right, not just getting the job. North Breeze repaired our WhisperKOOL wine cellar system and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, and completed the repair professionally. My husband was very worried about his wine collection.
