Last week I had a team of skilled Ongaro professionals (plumbers, electrician, and HVAC specialist) work on my home. What could have been the worst of times turned into one of my best home owner experiences. Each trades person was an excellent communicator and educated me about the water heater system and installation, the plumbing and electrical issues of my 1946 y/o home and my HVAC maintenance needs. I feel the cost of the work was worth it. I am grateful for the excellent professional skills provided by Michael the estimator, Rene the electrician, Devon from HVAC and all the plumbers Aldo, Felipe, Roberto, Kurt and Jeff. Daniella went the distance providing excellent service coordination. I feel fortunate to have worked with each of you, thank you, for your care and work ethic. I highly recommend Ongaro.
I am always so pleased with Ongaro & Sons. It's a family run business, every tech and manager I have encountered has been so kind, so professional, so friendly, and my dogs always love them! The scheduler always calls me when something opens up before my scheduled appointment. Text communication and post visit write ups are fantastic and full of helpful info. We've used them on three different properties over the last 10-15 years. Our local contractor recommends them and they do great work! We have used them for all manner of things on a modern house, and mid century house and a rental property that was originally built in 1896... HVAC, ductless, ducts, plumbing, furnace, thermostat and recently we bought a new AC from them and it's so quiet, so efficient, and it takes up way less space on our side yard. They are coming next week for our first ever electrical issue and we are feeling very positive about choosing them once again to work on our home.
I had Ongaro & Sons complete an electrical panel upgrade. The job did get finished, but the overall experience was painful and produced a less than ideal product. They charged my bank account for the full project amount before the work was completed and the tech onsite did not know the list of corrections communicated. To their credit, they did return and correct the items, but only after significant follow-up, and the premature charge was never addressed. Successful projects require attention to detail and communication and that seemed to lack once the project was sold. See photos for install and interior damage they deemed acceptable
We had a sump pump under our rental installed by Zach and Felipe. What professionals and fabulous work they did. Absolutely care about everything being precise and fitting perfectly. They have gone above and beyond our expectations. We are not easily impressed but these two gentleman did a superb job. We watched the whole process and were amazed at every little detail they made sure was correct. Would hands down recommend Ongaro and Sons and definitely these two men. Very kind and personable. We had them install a new furnace in our Mobile home in Napa California which is for sale and we needed a new furnace to pass inspection.. When home inspector came for final inspection furnace installation did not pass inspection because of a missing sediment trap. Since we're no longer ger in the area, our realtors were the ones who scheduled the installation, but when it came to call and inform them that they needed to go back and finish installation completely they dragged their feet. I contacted them by email, no response. I called them to ask what the problem was, especially since we had already paid them in full( over 7,000 dollars) and I was given the run around. The woman insisted that she didn't know anything about it. That no one had contacted them and that they only scheduled appointments with the homeowners not realtors. So she basically called our realtors liars. I had to stop her, because she would let me finish any sentences and was rude so I hung up and called realtors since now this company says they have to send their own inspector and it will take another week! When the realtors called to make appointment for installation they were their within a week. I feel that since we have already paid for a job they didn't complete that we would have priority in getting the job done so we can get home on market for sale. ALSO They have yet to put in a couple of floor registers for duct work.
