I had Ongaro & Sons complete an electrical panel upgrade. The job did get finished, but the overall experience was painful and produced a less than ideal product. They charged my bank account for the full project amount before the work was completed and the tech onsite did not know the list of corrections communicated. To their credit, they did return and correct the items, but only after significant follow-up, and the premature charge was never addressed. Successful projects require attention to detail and communication and that seemed to lack once the project was sold. See photos for install and interior damage they deemed acceptable
We had a sump pump under our rental installed by Zach and Felipe. What professionals and fabulous work they did. Absolutely care about everything being precise and fitting perfectly. They have gone above and beyond our expectations. We are not easily impressed but these two gentleman did a superb job. We watched the whole process and were amazed at every little detail they made sure was correct. Would hands down recommend Ongaro and Sons and definitely these two men. Very kind and personable. Thank you Zach and Felipe for a perfect job.
Called to schedule routine maintenance / flush for a 19 year old tankless water heater. They asked how old it was I said 19 years old. When the tech arrived as soon as I told him how old it was he said “Oh I don’t recommend servicing a tankless heater this old just run it till it dies. The service might break it prematurely.” That’s fine but you need to communicate this to your scheduling staff. They should know that they don’t recommend flushing 19year old tankless water heaters. Wasted everyone’s time here and my money.
Ongaro and Sons installed a tankless water heater for us, and everyone from the Mike in sales, to Tony doing the pre-visit, to Omar and Zach installing the water heater, were professional and nice. Omar and Zach were so careful to keep things clean and organized, and the new water heater opened up so much room in our closet! Really great experience and would recommend.
I recently called Ongarro and Sons about a tricky problem involving an intermittently operative stove and a balky breaker box. Their technician, Rene, sorted everything nicely and (bonus!) taught me a lot about how electricity works. [This is not so dumb as it might sound. I always expect techs to be able to explain in language I can understand just what they're up to.] I would call on her again in a second, and indeed I'll be doing that after the holidays for a comprehensive electrical inspection. Excellent job! Ongaro and Sons: definite keeper.
