About a week ago, we noticed that our hot water was running out much faster than usual, and the water was no longer staying as hot as it should. A few days later, we started hearing loud banging noises coming from our gas water heater in the garage. It was a 10-year-old Bradford White unit. I found Alex in Yelp and sent him a message late in the evening. To my surprise, he responded immediately. Throughout the entire process, communication was fast, efficient, and highly professional. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Alex came out, inspected the water heater, and explained the situation clearly. We learned that there was really no practical repair option—the choice was either to replace the unit or continue using it with steadily declining performance. Since water heaters typically have a lifespan of about 10–12 years, and knowing that starting in 2027 new gas water heaters will no longer be permitted for installation in Santa Clara, we decided it was the right time to replace it. Alex provided a detailed, well-organized, and very competitive estimate that included everything, including insurance coverage. The very next day, he returned and replaced the water heater smoothly and efficiently. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The work was excellent, communication was outstanding, and Alex is not only highly skilled and professional but also genuinely pleasant to work with. He took the time to explain every step of the process and answered all of my questions. This is the second water heater with tank Alex has installed for us. We liked his work on the first so are now repeat customers. He does a good job, is honest, fair price, clean, professional, polite. We permitted our water heater and easily passed the inspection. Everything was done per code.
