Was able to get a service appointment later the same day that I called. Juan is a smart, friendly, respectful technician who diagnosed and fixed the problem with our HVAC heat pump quickly. Turned out the OEM capacitor that failed in our 5-year old Trane XR condenser was a lower-end Chinese-made model which Juan replaced with a more robust USA-made capacitor.
I think it’s human nature to question your decision after a major purchase. We’ve all experienced that inner voice asking “did I make the right decision?” “Was I too hasty ?” But that was not the case this week when we had Smart Heating & Air Conditioning replace our home’s air conditioner. Both my wife and I are so pleased and confident with our decision. From my first contact with Susie about our appointment and then her follow up and updates, to having technician Juan show me exactly what the immediate problem was, and answering all my questions, even making a call to get one answer. I didn’t know exactly what we would decide, but I knew this company was special. I knew whatever we decided to do, we wanted this company to do it. My wife and I agreed it was best to replace our 23 year old system. Mike Jestadt, Smart Heating & AC’s owner, showed us the systems best designed for our size home. He looked at every vent in every room on both floors and explained why our old system was so overworked. He made our decision an easy one. And once the installation was being completed, Mike came to inspect the work his team, Benny, Jorge, Emilio, and Brandon, had done to make sure every detail of the job was perfect. One more reason we were so confident in our decision to trust Smart Heating & Air Conditioning.
Today I had a new HVAC system installed and my house has already dropped over 16 degrees since they left. This new air conditioning is WONDERFUL... 🙏🥰 The crew (3 of them) arrived at 8 am -window was between 8-10, although Mike, the owner said they will most likely be here by the first hour. and I also received a text message when Miquel was on his way with a tracker. The tracker was great, because I needed to get my dogs situated for the day. They had the install done by 3, cleaned up, showed me all the new equipment, how to work the new thermostat and where the filters were. I signed, paid and they were on their way at 3:45pm. Juan did a great job fixing my ac. In less than an hour, he diagnosed and fixed it. Their prices are reasonable too.
