We just had our gas furnace and A/C replaced with a heat pump. Henry was spot-on in recommending the latest Carrier model, even ensuring it was one that works efficiently in colder zones. I was incredibly impressed by the team's professionalism during the installation. You can completely trust him on both the technical details and his competitive pricing. Straightforward service with no games.
Booking the appointment was easy. Miguel, the service technician, was on time, polite, and did a good job performing maintenance on our two AC units. My concern is pricing. Maintenance was $180 per unit, or $360 total. They found one capacitor that needed replacement and initially quoted $295. I declined and instead bought the $25 capacitor myself at Home Depot; Miguel installed it at no charge. The upstairs system was also low on refrigerant. They charged $159/lb for R-410A and added 3.5 lbs, for $556.50. Total bill: $916.50. Miguel was here for about 90 minutes. Good service, but I think their prices run high.
Therma Tech really stepped up and made things right. After my initial experience where the condenser coils couldn’t be cleaned due to the lack of a rooftop water source, Jazmin was incredibly responsive and worked to resolve the situation. She arranged for Miguel to return with a portable water pump, and he was able to thoroughly clean the condenser coils as promised. I really appreciate the company’s willingness to listen, take ownership, and follow through. Miguel was once again professional, friendly, and did excellent work. Great customer service and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
I am extremely happy with the new heat pump system installed by Therma Tech. From the initial quote to final completion, the entire process took only 4 days—including the first call and visit, HOA approval, and two full days to remove the old system and install the new one. Henry was amazingly efficient! He has updated some AC units in my condo, which made it super easy for him to go to the unit and fix all in the same day. I went from a hot 85 temp home to a nice 75 temp within an hr. Very happy with the service and support from Therma Tech!
