We recently worked with Upgrade Home Service again to install a new AC system, and had another great experience. About five years ago, Victor helped us replace our furnace, and because we were very satisfied with both the service and the Carrier system, we decided to return as customers. This time, Victor took the time to clearly explain our options, including adding a pure AC system to our existing furnace versus going with a heat pump solution. His explanations were very helpful and made it much easier for us to choose the right setup for our home. We also preferred to stay with the Carrier brand, and Victor provided a fair and transparent quote. During installation, the team was professional, efficient, and respectful of our requests. They paid attention to detail, including properly installing the outdoor unit on a concrete pad reinforced with metal mesh, which we really appreciated. Overall, we are very happy with both the product and the service, and would definitely recommend Victor and his team.
After comparing & researching through brands & several HVAC companies, we selected a Dual Fuel System & Upgrade Home Services for the HVAC installation. From the first moment we met & spoke to Victor the estimator & son to the moment they set foot in our home, nothing but professional & hardworking group of folk's. Three gentlemen showed up to work. Victor Sr. the lead supervisor and as it turned out the business owner himself. They worked non-stop for about 8.5hrs getting the work done in one day. We can't say enough how pleased we are with the work & how these folk's were professional, focused & committed to do a good job, as Victor Sr. himself expected it to be. Highly recommend Upgrade! Victor was very knowledgeable about a variety of HVAC products, and we are very pleased with the results of the install. Even though we had a lot of questions, he took the time to answer them and provide us with multiple options. Out of every company we spoke with, Upgrade was the most personable, and they were upfront about the cost for the equipment and labor. We felt this made them the most reliable. Definitely very happy with our new system!
After a very positive experience with Upgrade Home Services, HVAC (UHS) when our gas furnace went out a few months ago (and was quickly fixed), we decided to replace the furnace with a Heat Pump HVAC system. We got bids from UHS and one other company and UHS was substantially lower. Plus the other company estimated three days to install while UHS thought they could get it done in a day (barring any bad surprises). Installation started at about 8:30 AM. There was a team of four, led by Victor Sr., that worked together with skill and speed. The furnace was located in the attic and accessible only through a small opening in the ceiling of a towel closet. I couldn't believe how seemingly easily they got the old furnace down and the new heat pump up. Meanwhile, the old AC unit outside the house and its associated plumbing had to be removed and the new fan system put in place. They completed the job a little after 5 PM. I was in disbelief, especially after I got up in the attic and saw everything that they had done and the high quality of the work. The final permit inspection hasn't yet happened, but I'm going to bet that the job easily passes. Victor and his team are clearly pros. I don't know how the job could have gone better. And keep in mind that UHS was more than substantially less expensive than the other company.
Upgrade installed a new, heat pump hot water heater in my house. They did a great job! They arrived as expected, had everything needed, had competent, experienced people doing the work, and did everything up to code. The new water heater works great and there have been no problems. I recommend them highly to anyone.
