Miguel came to diagnose a problem with our furnace, probably caused by someone's faulty electrical work. He and his supervisor Robert checked several things to zero in on the problem, a burnt-out switch leading to the furnace. Miguel was then able to install a more modern fuse switch in half in hour and we have heat again! We thought we'd have to schedule an additional appointment to fix the problem so it was a pleasant surprise. Cost seems reasonable as well.
I needed my furnace replaced and a heat pump installed. I had six bids and chose to work with Air Quality Heating & Air Conditioning. I am very happy with the service. Matt Farber and his team did a great job - professional and efficient. They helped with rebates, took care of the permit, helped me track a phantom power issue (even though it is not caused by them). The installation took only a few hours, even though it is a complex job. I recommended them to my neighbor.
Called and asked about pricing and was told 200 for a basic inspection of my AC unit. I told them I spoke with competitors offering lower prices and asked why should I choose air quality heating and air and the lady over the phone flat out told me I should not choose Air Quality Heating & Air Conditioning, and she literally hung up on me. Terrible customer service. I image this behavior isn't limited to the help desk. Save yourself and go elsewhere. Highest prices in the book after I called 6 others. Not hard to call other shops and find a better, more professional deal.
Air Quality Heating & Air Conditioning replaced my 60 year old plus heating system in November 2020 with a new furnace, new air conditioning unit along with new ducts and vents. Matt is a stand up guy, a straight shooter who can be trusted and one that also provided me with good options for my project In addition, Matt's crew did a fantastic job of completing my job on time with high quality and at a very fair price. The workmanship was outstanding, the workers cleaned up at the end of each day and were very courteous. I highly recommend Matt's company and crew for any of your HVAC needs as I am an extremely pleased customer.
