Today I had a great visit my first time to Ashby, plumbing and heating. They allowed me to come behind the register for my purchase. It was smooth and easy, and I was able to pick up exactly what I needed right around the corner from my place. Love it.
Francis Combes was my agent for a large and successful backyard building project this year. He is knowledgeable, efficient, good humored and has been very attentive throughout the project. My orders and billing were handled promptly and with refreshing courtesy. Pricing is fair and favorable. Francis usually had recommendations to help me narrow things down. He valued my time and attention. I appreciated the very full showroom with many products and displays to inspire me. I've been an Ashby customer for decades, and will continue to be one!
Pretty nice shop, small with helpful staff. However, the other day I went there a little after 4:15 pm and they had left for the day. They advertise that they are open till 4:30 pm, you drive there and get there more than ten minutes before they are supposed to close and the place is shut down. That is a big no no for me. I would have given them four or probably five stars but closing sooner than what you advertise does not seem professional or responsible to me. Hopefully that was just a mishap...
needed just one length of pipe and they were incredibly kind and helpful both over the phone and in person. if i ever have any plumbing needs, this would be my first stop
I was frustrated since Saturday with not being able to locate my Kenmore water heater parts which apparently I learned upon researching that are interchangeable with A.O. brand. A.O. water heaters are Lowe’s and Ace’s in-house exclusive brands but they don’t seem to carry any repair parts. Finally on Monday I called around a number of wholesale plumbing stores but no luck, except when I called Ashby Plumbing and Heating. Juan answered the phone and he was able to guide me through securing the burner assembly and the gas control module, both parts are sold together. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service experience that I had to share with others. Also I got a great price without the online ordering hassles and same day pickup and got hot water.
