Thank you for the fantastic work at my parents’ house! The technician, Mando, was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite throughout the entire process. My dad had a very old furnace, and we had been spending a lot of money on constant repairs. After finally finding Badger Heating & Cooling, everything changed. Mando took the time to explain our options and suggested installing a new Mitsubishi heat pump. We decided to move forward with it, and we absolutely love it! The new unit is efficient, reliable, and has already made a big difference in comfort and energy savings. Most importantly, my dad is very happy with the service and the results. We worked with Badger to install two new heatpump/HVAC systems, an electric water boiler, new attic fans and to redo the insulation in our attic. Our old single unit HVAC system was suffocating in a closet in the hallway. It was so loud every time we ran the AC it sounded like a diesel generator in the middle of our house. So our main concern was a quieter system (which they accomplished by moving the main unit to the attic) as well as having more temperature control throughout the house. To achieve the second concern, Armando installed a separate unit in our crawlspace for the downstairs area, which is north facing and was always freezing cold, while the upstairs would be too hot. This means we can now control both spaces independently, a huge improvement. These new systems are whisper quiet, more quiet than we would have dared hope for. So they perform well above our expectations. We also replaced our gas boiler with an electric one, had two new attic fans installed, and redid the insulation in our attic. To access the new unit in our attic they built a solid platform and made sure everything is up to code, a huge improvement from our previously dusty and inaccessible attic. Armando's crew worked at our house for 5 days. Every day they would seal off the areas they worked at with plastic and tarps, keeping our house clean for the duration of the project. They went above and beyond to finish all the details. Even the inspector was impressed with how thorough they were. Everything the did looks pristine. Armando's pricing was very reasonable and he was highly knowledgeable about HVAC systems. When asked, he provided us with the energy calculations to make sure the system he intended to install was the right fit for our house. In the end, he offered us a better solution for our home than a prior company that quoted us a more expensive, less efficient zoning system that would not have met our requirements. We're therefore very happy we chose to work with Badger and will continue to work with them for all our future HVAC needs. Big thank you to him and his crew!
