I would give them a sixth star if I could. We needed to replace an attic fan that was on its last leg. Jacob came out and spent a good deal of time inspecting our attic. He was very thorough. He ended up giving us a quote for a new fan and a whole house fan. He explained the pros of the WHF. We opted for just replacing the old attic fan. He put no pressure on us at all. After he left, I worked with Tawny via email to set up a time. Three members of team came out. They were on time, very professional and very thorough. They gave us an orientation on the using the app to control the fan, and answered everyone of our questions. I'm 73 and have worked with a lot of contractors over the years, and Bay Area Whole House Fans may be one of the best run companies I have encountered. I highly recommend them!

I’m so glad I came across Bay Area Whole House Fans. Our home tends to hold onto heat during the summer, so I was exploring options to help cool things down. Bay Area WHF—and especially Tawny—were incredibly helpful. She took the time to clearly explain their services and recommend products that would be a good fit for our needs. Tawny also shared valuable insights on what to look for when considering a whole house fan, including setup considerations and a realistic budget range. The whole process was easy and informative. Bay Area WHF came out for an estimate to look around our attic space and ensure our house was a good candidate for a fan, and recommend any additional work like insulation and venting. A few days later we received a quote and were scheduled for an installation. The installation team of two guys came at 7am and were finished installing the fan around 11am. They gave a quick intro on how to use the fan, cleaned up very well after themselves, and went on their way. 10/10 would recommend this company if you’re looking to add a whole house fan. The fan itself works very well. Once the temp outside hits 70° in the evening we run it for a few hours and it cools our house several degrees while using 1/10 the electricity you would use running AC.
