We live in central Ca. and noticed our 13 month old Carrier AC unit wasn't cooling on a Wednesday where temperatures are over 100 degrees. I called on Thursday morning and left a message as instructed on their service voice message. I did not receive a call back all day long. As I've done before on other AC units, I decided to replace the capacitor Thursday evening. I found the size at Home Depot and had my wife pick it up. By this time it was dark and I failed to confirm it was the correct size but the system did turn on. It still did not blow cold air and the air flow was non existent so we turned the unit off. I had to call back on Friday morning and the operator was helpful and sent an email to the service dept for me. I received a call back shortly after and a tech was at my house a few hours later. The tech discovered the underlying issue in the attic where the cold air flow was escaping in the attic due to a faulty duct system. Unfortunately the tech abruptly left stating he cannot continue to work on the system since I installed the incorrect capacitor. I understand why he cannot run a diagnostic, but I could not understand why he didn't install the correct capacitor and complete the job. I sent the company an email detailing how unhappy I was. A customer representative named Tyla called me and inquired how the repair was going. I told her about by frustration and disappointment and she made the right calls and right choices and scheduled a tech to handle the job on Saturday morning. The tech that came out was friendly and completed the job in a timely manner. My experience with Tyla was 5 stars for making the customer happy and doing what was reasonable. My experience with the first tech is 1 star as this is our 2nd time dealing with him. During the winter time he came out to adjust our ducts for a more even flow of warm air throughout our home. After a couple of hours and cooling my house to 60 degrees he failed to correct the problem. A week later him and another tech returned and the other tech completed the job. If Tyla could handle calls and the 2nd tech could do all of the repairs, I would give Blue Mountain 5 stars.
Noah from Blue Mountain HVAC services is awesome! He is friendly, skilled, and quickly helps address any needs or concerns you have during install and adjustments. Highly recommend this technician and this company! 5/5!
The service was phenomenal from start to finish! We had a full replacement done, scheduling was easy, techs were great and super clean work! We couldn’t be happier with the service we received! Thank you Blue Mountain Team!
Just had service done from Blue Mountain and being without cool air for the whole weekend was painful due to us not being under warranty made the beginning communication a little rough. But, when Richard came to the house it was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, helpful answered all of my questions and didn't try to rush the job. He took his time to check off all the boxes on what the problem could have been and at the end of the day it was just a blown fuse and no specific reasoning as to why it blew. But over all he fixed it and checked the system to ensured we were good to go. He also gave recommendations as to how to maintain our system like changing filters regularly and cleaning coils periodically. He was very helpful, and just his service alone would make me want to move forward with the possibility of joining their membership just to maintain our HVAC system. Great job Richard we need more friendly & helpful hard workers like you. Thank you Sir. 🙏👍
Richard was the technician with Blue Mountain and he did an awesome job. He replaced all the new components for our AC unit and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. He completed the work prompt and professional. I am a happy customer
