I had Eco Performance Builders install a ducted heat pump, attic sealing and insulation, and a heat pump water heater at my house last year. I found the experience of working with them to be exceptionally positive. From start to finish, every member of the team I worked with was highly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. I always felt like I was talking to a friendly expert, not a salesperson. They patiently answered all of my questions and worked with me to create a HVAC system that was perfectly tailored to my house. The installation work was smooth and efficient, and they were able to accommodate a few small change orders (e.g. relocation of a dryer vent) at a reasonable price. Their process for collecting rebates and incentives was very well-managed as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with my new heat pump and water heater. My house feels comfortable year round, and it feels great to live in a fully electrified home. I'd enthusiastically recommend Eco Perfomance Builders to anyone.

Eco was recommended to me and after working with them in January 2026, I, too, can recommend this local business - competent, customer services oriented and most of all, superb teamwork end to end. While the technology and the hardwares used are employed by many HVAC providers, the operation touches the attic to the crawl space and will take several consecutive days to complete, and the cost is not inexpensive, so organization, time management and customer care are critical to a desired outcome; and these are ECO's fortes. From the initial call to the project end with a sign off from the city inspector, everyone including ECO's outside contractors worked with me; they thought of things that I did not even notice. I could not have asked for a better construction/improvement outfit. I wish all my home projects can be done in such an effective and efficient way.

We recently hired Eco Performance Builders to replace an old gas furnace that was functioning poorly with a heat pump. It was a big job, and we’re extremely happy with how the project went, from start to finish. Every person we dealt with at EPB was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. They did a thorough assessment and testing of our home’s needs to come up with a customized system design that would work most efficiently for us. We can already feel a difference in how quickly and evenly our house heats up and retains heat, and we’re delighted that we can’t hear the unit operating at all. Our initial contact was with Kyle Bosworth, who helped figure out the scope and design of the project, and who shepherded it through to completion. Kyle was thorough, scientific in his approach, patient and a great communicator. He helped us make good decisions along the way (including putting down a vapor barrier in the crawl space below the house), and he and Denise Vera helped navigate the complex rebate application process. The entire crew that worked on the project, headed up by Nick Duarte, was reliable, careful and pleasant to deal with. They stuck to the schedule, kept us informed of things that arose along the way, and cleaned up at the end of every day. I have now completed my second project with Eco Performance Builders. The first was a heat pump water heater in 2023 and the latest just completed project was a ducted heat pump hvac system with new insulation. I am thrilled with them both. The water heater was a challenging installation because of space limitations but they recommended a wonderful unit and with imagination and determination made it work in my space. The hvac system design was comprehensive, engineered, and perfect for my needs. The system itself is quiet and amazingly efficient. The staff was professional, considerate, good communicators and all-around nice people. It all began with Kyle who handled the initial inspection, estimates and contracts, as well as graciously answering my infinite questions, and included the stellar Alberto (crew lead on both jobs) and his truly excellent team, the insulation crew (great containment work), production manager, tech person, office specialists and more. I appreciated the big things but also the small things such as daily cleanup. While it took a good bit of time for them to get to my projects (because they are very very good, they are also very very popular), the work itself was completed on target and worth waiting for. I highly recommend Eco Performance Builders and only wish I had more projects to do with them.
