I would give Hector 10 stars if I could. What an incredibly hard working and genuinely nice guy. We agreed he would remove an old boiler from my laundry room and relocate and replace it with a new wall mounted high efficiency unit in my garage. He started the very next morning and then we proceeded to have a heat wave in the following days. This did not phase Hector and he worked tirelessly in 100 degree heat for hours on end to get the job done. I was in awe and would not have blamed him if he had postponed the job until things cooled down because our west facing garage and laundry room were sweltering in the heat. Hector opened up the walls and ran a new gas line out to the garage as well as running the supply and return lines up and over the roof over to the garage and into the new boiler unit. Hector wrapped all the pipes and re-sealed the roof meticulously. He also added new plumbing for a sink in my laundry room. We now have a new Nest thermostat, thanks to Hector. When we came across the inevitable stumbling blocks in the job, Hector was flexible and creative in his thinking and offered great solutions. He arrived right on time or 10 min early every morning and always put on booties and a mask. He tarped everything and left his work area extra clean. I am so impressed with Hector's professionalism, kindness and also the very high quality of his workmanship. Hire Hector and you'll be SO glad you did!!

This is the definition of top notch service. I called with a problem with my hydronic heating system. He said he could show up in a couple of hours. First wow, Sure enough, the truck pulled up 2 hours later. He looked at the controls and quickly identified the problems including demonstrating the problems in a way that he couldn’t have been making up. I asked for an estimate, and he clearly divided the cost between parts and labor. Second wow, he had the parts in stock ON HIS TRUCK. Two hours later, everything was installed, tested, and cleaned up. While I hope to never need his services again, I would call him in a heartbeat if needed. P.s. he also said he had 20 years of experience with a well known long term hydronics provider.

Hector is a very professional and trustworthy Eichler heater repairman. We had an emergency situation, he came right away, and fixed the issue quickly.

Hector is the worst radiant heating repairman I have ever encountered—extremely unprofessional. He didn’t provide any contract, and his pricing was completely non-transparent. He even didn’t do a flash air test to detect a leak. In the end, I spent $8,000, and he didn’t even take responsibility for the leak that remained after the repairs. He claims his rate is $165 per hour and brings along a worker who charges $80 per hour. However, they were slacking off the entire time, constantly extending the repair time on purpose. They would spend time looking at their phones, taking long lunch breaks, and would even charge for two hours spent on their phones and lunch. Also, he charges every time he connects two pipes, dragging out the work without fixing the problem. This was our first time repairing radiant heating, and we regret not listening to our neighbors’ recommendations to use a reputable company like Anderson Radiant Heat or Lachance. Whatever you do, don’t hire Hector—he’s probably just trying to scam as many people as he can. Reply to his comment (So, can you explain why it took eight hours to open a small hole in the concrete when a contractor could do it in just ten minutes? Did you intentionally use outdated tools, or were you deliberately dragging out the time since you're charging by the hour? I have security cameras installed, and they clearly recorded how you wasted time—playing on your phone and taking long meal breaks, all while still charging me. Do you really think that's reasonable? A job that could have been done in two to three hours was intentionally stretched to over ten hours just to increase the charges. You might as well have just given me a fixed repair price from the start. This is nothing short of a scam!)

Thorough, competent, knowledgeable with excellent workmanship. We returned home after vacation to find a pipe leak near our radiant heating system. Out of five professionals, Hector was the only one who could diagnose, locate all the leaks, replace a broken controller with 5 hours. He also cleaned the leaked water and left everything spotless after the work. I hired Hector to upgrade our pipe insulation after the job and he did a splendid job on that as well.
