I would give Hector 10 stars if I could. What an incredibly hard working and genuinely nice guy. We agreed he would remove an old boiler from my laundry room and relocate and replace it with a new wall mounted high efficiency unit in my garage. He started the very next morning and then we proceeded to have a heat wave in the following days. This did not phase Hector and he worked tirelessly in 100 degree heat for hours on end to get the job done. I was in awe and would not have blamed him if he had postponed the job until things cooled down because our west facing garage and laundry room were sweltering in the heat. Hector opened up the walls and ran a new gas line out to the garage as well as running the supply and return lines up and over the roof over to the garage and into the new boiler unit. Hector wrapped all the pipes and re-sealed the roof meticulously. He also added new plumbing for a sink in my laundry room. We now have a new Nest thermostat, thanks to Hector. When we came across the inevitable stumbling blocks in the job, Hector was flexible and creative in his thinking and offered great solutions. He arrived right on time or 10 min early every morning and always put on booties and a mask. He tarped everything and left his work area extra clean. I am so impressed with Hector's professionalism, kindness and also the very high quality of his workmanship. Hire Hector and you'll be SO glad you did!!
Hector worked with Mr. Lipp of Lipp Hydronics, and is an expert in the Eichler heating system. He is the best around for maintenance, installation, and trouble shooting of these systems. I recently called another business that advertised in the Eichler magazine because I didn't know who was Lipp's sucessor. Let's just say--there's a real difference in expertise!
This is the definition of top notch service. I called with a problem with my hydronic heating system. He said he could show up in a couple of hours. First wow, Sure enough, the truck pulled up 2 hours later. He looked at the controls and quickly identified the problems including demonstrating the problems in a way that he couldn’t have been making up. I asked for an estimate, and he clearly divided the cost between parts and labor. Second wow, he had the parts in stock ON HIS TRUCK. Two hours later, everything was installed, tested, and cleaned up. While I hope to never need his services again, I would call him in a heartbeat if needed. P.s. he also said he had 20 years of experience with a well known long term hydronics provider.
Hector efficiently diagnosed and repaired my Allied radiant heater at a reasonable price. The other company I tried first tinkered for nearly two hours without success and proposed replacing everything.
Hector is a very professional and trustworthy Eichler heater repairman. We had an emergency situation, he came right away, and fixed the issue quickly.
