Hammer Heating and Air is exceptional! Their service is top-notch from start to finish. I live in Los Altos Hills, and recently, my second-floor air conditioning was not producing cold air. After a previous company serviced my units, I thought the issue was resolved. However, it persisted, so I checked Nextdoor for recommendations. Finding a provider my neighbors used I set up an appointment. While the technician identified a faulty low-pressure sensor, he strongly urged me to replace my air conditioner instead of attempting a repair. He also said he could not work with my compressor brand and quoted $9,500 for duct replacement. When he could not locate the necessary part, I turned to Hammer Heating and Air out of Martinez, CA after hearing great reviews from a friend. Mike, the owner, quickly found the part, rewired my unit, and even rescued a rat he found trapped inside my air conditioner. He replaced all the chewed wires with ease. Thanks to Mike, my air conditioning now works perfectly, and I saved between $15,000 and $20,000 that I thought I would need to spend. Mike is a true professional, friendly, and thorough. I am so grateful I reached out to Hammer Heating and Air for an honest assessment and a complete solution. Now, I would only use or recommend Hammer Heating and Air.
Hammer's Heating and Air Conditioning, was a great experience from beginning to end! I contracted Hammer's to install a new hvac system in my home. The quality of the hvac components provided, coupled with Mike's installation and professionalism cannot be beat, all at a great price point. Everything went extremely well, even when he encountered those problems that inevitably come up with an aging home, Mike was able to handle them with ease. We found Mike through our contractor, who has consistently led us to the best in the business. Hammer's Heating and AC did not disappoint. Mike resolved some ongoing issues we'd had with our HVAC, replaced a furnace, installed a new mini-split AC unit and helped make sure everything was done as quickly as possible. He was a friendly presence in our home while the work was being done and always super responsive and timely. I can't recommend him more highly!
Today is the perfect day to leave a review as it will be 110 degrees today. Mike installed 2 new heat/AC systems on our house a few weeks ago. He is professional and timely and the work turned out great. Our new ecobee thermostat is easy to use. We have also had Mike come out and repair our system throughout the years and he has always done a great job. I highly recommend his company.
