Quick, knowledgable, friendly, honest, and reasonably priced to boot. Had a high rise HVAC unit with a bad reversing valve that was stuck heating instead of cooling. Absolutely miserable. Phillip was able to diagnose the issue in under an hour, confirmed the replacement part was in stock and repaired the unit a couple of days later. The prior vendor through home warranty tried to gouge the quote by stating the system couldn't be repaired, falsely stating the OEM valve was end of life, a none OEM valve wouldn't work, and that a completely new system was needed. This was absolutely not the case. Unit is back at a cool 65. Thank you Phil!
Phillips Mechanical recently serviced our A/C unit in downtown San Jose. Phil was able to diagnose the issue - turns out our unit was incredibly dusty, so he was thorough in cleaning it out and adding some extra refrigerant. Super friendly, communicative, and prompt - everything you need and want in a service provider for your home. Highly recommend!

My home was built early 1900s and was in desperate need of HVAC. Phil was able to complete my job, including unforeseen complications in 3 days for a full HVAC install to include wiring, gas work, roof mounting, and ducting. Phil went out of his way to ensure my home was equipped with properly running HVAC for the summer. The work done is nothing short of perfect, and Phil is knowledgeable and an expert in his trade. Phil was punctual, courteous, professional, and personable. The approach taken was very matter of fact, no BS, this is the plan. Even when running into a drop ceiling that included an additional layer of lathe and plaster, sheetrock, and the updated ceiling - Phil laid out the problem and tackled it immediately until the job was done. I was kept looped in every step of the way of what exactly what was going on from start to cleanup, leaving me with no questions or worries. I cannot write enough about the positive experience my family had and vehemently recommend the company for all work.
