I thought Colin and his team did an excellent job of installing two heat pumps in my SF home. The guys were respectful of my home and diligent and just generally nice. There were issues that needed to be addressed because of the structure of my home and Colin was great at working with me to get a good solution. I am very happy with the job and the people who did it.
Really nice job putting in two Heat Pumps to replace an upstairs attic furnace and a furnace under the house. Replaced a lot of the old ducts under the house to get higher efficiency. Work was super clean and very efficient. Colin's crew was great. Would highly recommend them.
Colin at TechAir was great. We got a competitive price on two ductless compressor units outside and eight wall units. He worked with us on all the details and getting it done quickly. The AC is great and I’m sure the heat will be awesome come winter.
I wish I could give Colin 10 stars for his service on our AC unit early this Saturday morning!! I am so grateful that I called him (on a Friday at 4:45 pm and left a voicemail figuring I wouldn't hear back until Monday. I awoke to a 7 am he voicemail from Colin and he was at my house 10 minutes after I called him back. Colin could have easily sold me a new AC unit costing me between $10-25k bc it looked like my 20+ year old dinosaur had gone kaput. (Plus I would have to spend thousands more to move the unit from off our roof to comply with new building codes and repair the roof!! ) I'm guessing any number of companies out there would have done that. But on a hunch he thought a small part might work. Bingo. And only $385 for the visit and the part. On a weekend - when no other companies I left messages for called me back). I offered to give Colin a big tip bc I was so happy for a quick fix after 3 sleepless nights. (It wasn't due to lack of AC but bc connecting an annoying vibrating sound every few minutes that I didn't connect to the sputtering AC motor from my unit perched on my roof!) But he declined and send he'd merely appreciate a nice review! I can't recommend Tech Air enough - don't bother to call any other company because you won't find any more honest and prompt service than this!
For the last six years, desipte having a reasonably new AC System, our house wasn't ever cooling enough. I reached out to a few vendors, Colin was the most honest, being straight on what was fixable vs not. How to make it work the best at the most reasonable price. I would without a doubt use him for all future AC items
