We wish we could give higher stars for UNIVERSAL HEATING AND COOLING! The 2 technicians UNIVERSAL HEATING AND COOLING sent out were amazing! Dispatch was amazing. The moment I called, the lady that answered the phone was quick to start searching for the quickest time to have the technicians show up at our home. She was friendly and professional. The two technicians were knowledgeable and had our air-conditioning unit working in less than 20 minutes. They were amazing!

Universal Heating & Cooling was contracted by our home warranty company to assess an issue with our heater. When Juan (from their office) contacted me, they were willing to get a technician out right away and agreed on a Friday from 10am-12pm. Alex, the technician arrived a few minutes early, was polite and was ready with tools, a ladder and shoe covers. Alex ran some tests and found the ignitor was the issue. He was prepared to do the work on the spot, but realized he didn't have the right part on-hand and would need to order one. During this time, an estimate was submitted to our home warranty and the correct part was ordered. Juan (from their office) connected with me again and let me know the home warranty would not cover 100% of the cost and the difference would need to come out of pocket; this was specific to the cost of the part itself. Keep in mind this cost was in addition to the deductible that is due to the contractor for the initial visit/assessment. The technician, Alex was sent out again, part in-hand and was able to complete the work with no issues and got the heater working! A few days after the work was completed, to our surprise the replacement part was shipped to our house. Yes, the same part that we were initially told was not covered and paid for out of pocket. I contacted our home warranty and Universal Heating & Cooling to get clarification on the mix-up. Long story short Universal Heating & Cooling made things right and would highly recommend them! Alex was prompt and did the work right! Juan was easy to work with and was in constant communication which is proof they stand by their words with customer satisfaction! Reached out to Universal Heating & Cooling for a quite complex job. From the beginning , setting up the estimate appointment was smooth and easy. While other companies didn’t even bother calling me back. Wilson listened to what I wanted to accomplish and he made necessary suggestions that not only were the the best but also saved me money. My job was very complex since I wanted to relocate an AC unit from one side of the house to the other. While other companies suggested a full replacement and some walked away. Wilson provided a very competitive bid that help the me make the decision. They showed up on time to start the project and finished everything in one day. The three man crew were polite and professional at all times. The attention to detail and the final finish work is definitely top notch! Thank you Wilson and his team Alejandro , Bryan and Efrain for your great work! Will highly recommend this company for your next project!

AVOID AT ALL COST. They are incredibly unresponsive and never return calls. They are also slow and their front-office is filled with amateurs who know nothing about HVAC systems in general. Imagine this: A technician shows up to your place but can't speak English, so you can't convey your requirements. So you think you could call front-office and tell them directly but they are just useless sales people. WHAT ARE YOU EVEN SUPPOSED TO DO? My home warranty assigned my issue to them. I had to deal with them for over 3 months before switching to some other HVAC provider, literally solved my issue in 2 days.

I had an excellent experience with Universal Heating & Cooling. They were prompt, professional, and clearly very experienced. Wilson was a pleasure to work with—he diagnosed and fixed the issues with my heater and thermostat both quickly and expertly. Highly recommend their services!
