If you want your plumbing job done right at a fair and reasonable cost call Dollar Plumbing. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced in a hurry. I met Al at Lowes, in the faucet isle, he was dressed in his business attire and I asked if he could help me with repairs. He was very friendly, he recommended a faucet. He gave me his card and thank goodness I called him. He showed up in a professionally marked van full of trade tools and went to work. OMG, his professionalism and technical skills were amazing. This job was no easy task, believe me. He was so respectful, friendly, efficient, have high quality standards. If you want the job right for a reasonable cost call Dollar Plumbing and ask for Al.
If you have galvanized pipes, consider replacing them with PVC. Dollar Plumbing recommended us in 2020 and we waited. Thank goodness he followed up, inspected our pipes, found cracks, and replaced them quickly. Al's a professional, and we trust him.

Unfortunately, we are feeling frustrated with our services from Dollar Plumbing. We had a cartridge in our tub faucet replaced at the end of May. We were informed during the service that it had a 6 month warranty. Everything was good until right around the 6 month mark. At the beginning of November, we noticed a leak happening again. We gave it some time since cartridges do not go out that quickly. When it did not stop leaking, we called back to make sure we were within warranty. We were not able to connect with them until about 3 weeks or so after this (which made it out of warranty). When the plumber came back, he mentioned that Livermore has hard water so that is why the cartridge went out again. I made sure I voiced to him that there is no reason a tub faucet should break that quickly. He did agree with this statement. He agreed to fix the cartridge again at half the price he charged us the first time. I made sure to voice to him that I did not feel this is fair since he was informed of the leak before the 6 month warranty. He told me he felt like he was being more than fair. With all of this being said, we felt this repair was within warranty and it was not granted by the company, which seems unprofessional and very frustrating. We would not use them again and would not recommend them to others.
Al was willing to come out on a Sunday to see the job and give me a quote. He made some recommendation’s about the type of faucet but overall I went with an old style. Al took lots of time to make my new faucet fit perfectly in the pre existing holes. My faucet is working better than before and the old corroded faucet is gone!
