We’ve used Genteel Plumbers multiple times and have always been 100% Satisfied by their work. Their Technicians are professional, highly skilled, efficient and tidy. They have fixed our drains, and replaced our water heater, with long-lasting results. Today, their Tech Joan, who has previously serviced our home, came through and replaced our bathroom faucets, our downstairs shower head, the J-Tube, and the 1/4 turn shutoff valves. In addition, he also replaced an old galvanized piece of steel pipe feeding our cold water to the upstairs sink, that was clogged, with a brass one that was clear, and also cleared a clogged drain downstairs. He truly went “Above and Beyond”, in order to provide the proper services that we needed. I would highly recommend using Genteel Plumbers for all of your plumbing needs. A+++ Service. We needed a new garbage disposal and other plumbing issues fixed. We have used Genteel in the past and always have been happy with their work so we called and they came the same day. Edgar came out and gave us an estimate and we had several options. Edgar was very professional and he didn't pressure us to agree on the most expensive option. He patiently explained the pros and cons of each option and he left the decision up to us. Even though they are a little pricey, we would recommend them. They know their business and of all the issues they have taken care of over the years for us, we are extremely happy with their work. Ask for Edgar, he is extremely nice and he was very patient with all of our questions.
I had a really good experience with the Genteel Plumbers office as well as my plumber Edgar. 1) The office is very responsive, which I appreciate a lot. It’s very helpful to be able to both text and call with the company when coordinating schedules. 2) The service itself by Edgar was also a no-brainer. He arrived on time and was very quick to fix several of the issues that I had. He worked on my kitchen and bathroom and was only here for about two hours. He did great work, left my place clean, and took the old parts with him so I don’t have to deal with disposing. I would request him specifically if I need to call Genteel again for other work. 3) I think that a lot of people have gripes about the cost. Some plumbers bill by project and some plumbers bill by hours. Genteel was slightly more than I’m used to, but honestly, if you can afford it, I would. Plumbing is not a job that will be taken by AI, so the trade will only become more expensive and valuable! So get those plumbing needs done now! Hah.
Joe and Dan came over and did a fantastic job. They replaced my water heater, some valves, and ducting. Very professional and did the job as they described. Luckily there were no hiccups! But Joe was careful to let me know beforehand the scope of the work and any potential issues. I've called them before and I think they are very fair and up-front. Genteel Plumbers are good, and I recommend!
Genteel Plumbers was fantastic. I had a major shower leak at my investment property in San Francisco, and they came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and got it fixed before it turned into an even more expensive problem. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, which was especially important since I wasn’t on-site. Professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
