My 80 year old grandmother called Gray's Plumbing out on December 4, 2025 because her toilet wasn’t working correctly. Turns out it was completely fine and instead of calling it a day, the plumber offered to walk through the rest of her house as he was not willing to waive the service fee. Somehow, he left with $2,300.25 for replacing a garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet!!! The disposal (InSinkErator Badger 5-91A) runs $138 at Home Depot, they charged $1422. The Delta faucet (model 16593-dst) is $119, they charged $1165. Made her sign up for the annual plan for $360, which apparently saved her $600+ off the total bill. Bringing the total to $2300.25 and a service plan I now have to cancel. She's 80 and was home alone. She didn't need new fixtures as both were working correctly days prior. She made a mistake calling about her toilet and ended up being taken advantage of. I'll be filing a formal complaint through the CSLB and would encourage anyone else who had similar experiences to do the same. I do not recommend this company to anyone! Horrible!
Water heater replacement by Gray Plumbing Inc. I Called in the morning for a service technician to check my leaking water heater. The technician Eric Brown made it on time to meet us to check on the tank, he was informative on why getting a new tank is no doubt the best deal, he did the installation clean. He was very polite & professional. We’re happy with the worked done.

Derrick Hayes recently completed the installation of our home water filtration system. He was professional, thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all the steps involved in this procedure. Most important of all, he was able to install the system in the available corner space in our garage. The required drainage was efficiently completed as per our city's code. Andrew is an exceptional professional. He let me know everything he was doing with the install of the faucet and garbage disposal. He asked my input on how I wanted the faucet installed. I will use this company again, only if Andrew does the work. He deserves a raise!
