John Gleason does plumbing and business with a remarkable level of integrity. Austin from John Gleason Plumbing removed my R/O system in preparation for a move and his service was quick, thorough and extremely reasonably priced. I also had a minor leak from the dishwasher hose, which he also fixed. He did the work quickly and courteously and again, charged me a fair price. Such a breath of fresh air in Marin County! We have used John Gleason at both our home and office. Service was excellent! John, Kevin and Austin went above and beyond to trouble shoot and ultimately fix our 1 year old tankless water heater at the office that kept shutting off. At home they did a same day emergency repair to the plumbing of an upstairs toilet and at another time snaked our outdoor irrigation drainage line. We are extremely satisfied with their work and their fees are reasonable. We would highly recommend their services.
If you are considering converting from a gas water heater to an electric heat pump water heater, I highly recommend John Gleason Plumbing. I got several quotes and JGP had by far the most fair and competitive pricing. John and Austin came out to review the job scope to make sure all the details were covered before starting the job. On the day of installation, Austin arrived on time with his crew. Austin did an excellent, careful job of removing the gas water heater and installing the new HPWH. Everything is working perfectly!
We had what looked like a simple kitchen sink clog. It was, however, decades of buildup under the kitchen — years of corroded, gunk-blocked pipes, installed haphazardly through a previous owner's cheap remodel, one that was not up to code. (Not even close.) John Gleason and his crew were excellent in solving it all for us; they discovered the source of our clog, gave us a range of options for how we'd like to move forward, and tackled it all. They replaced the decades-old pipes under the kitchen, rebuilt our under-sink piping setup to get us into code compliance, and installed a garbage disposal too. We're very happy customers. Will be hiring them again.
