Yesterday, July 1st i arrived home following a long and hard 48 hour shift at work. I was so tired. When I arrived I opened my garage door to find water in my garage that was actively leaking from my water heater. Not a great way to start the day. I found Lifesaver Plumbing on Google and gave them a call. Harris was very kind and professional and got a tech enroute to me very quickly. Within a half hour, James arrived. James is awesome!!! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. He made me feel very comfortable and capable of making the right decision for my replacement water heater. My old one was from 1991 and unable to be repaired. James said give me an hour and I will be back with your new water heater for installation. Thank goodness!!! It was going to be fixed! Right on time James came back and started to install the new water heater. Then the owner of the company George arrived and he was also amazing! Both of these men were kind, professional and cared about helping me solve this problem in a very timely manner. True Lifesavers!! I am so appreciative of the very quick response, problem solving, communication and professional installation of my new water heater! Lifesaver Plumbing and Rooter saved the day for me! Whoa. This is the team you want to call. The five star reviews are true. I have a double sink that had one clogged and it was clogged for three years (I know.). We thought it was our dishwasher that was causing it but we bought a new dishwasher and the right side of sink still clogged. Last week it started leaking underneath. When my husband checked the pipe, it was soft to the touch. Yikes! I was flipping out and went straight to Yelp. I started looking for reputable, well-reviewed plumbers and stumbled upon Lifesaver. I messaged them on Yelp and they responded quickly. I called and was happy to learn that they had availability the following day. They gave me an arrival window of 12-2. Perfect. Then I waited to see how things went. Next day, I received a text confirming the job and timeframe. Right around noon, James T. called and said he was about a half hour away. Great! He was right on time. Before entering the house he put on these booties to protect our hardwoods and he did so without our asking him. Amazing. Now to the job. My husband took over from here. James diagnosed the problem and went to work fixing it. He also figured out what was wrong with our garbage disposal and he fixed that too! It is about a week later and all is well. The sink works perfectly. No leaks, no soft pipe. And the best part: the repair was reasonably priced. I also love the fact that Lifesaver is a local Richmond business. They truly live up to their name. Well done!
Michael came out very promptly and gave very clear options for my washer faucet replacements. Pricing is higher than other estimates I received but they were able to respond very quickly and Michael was very helpful so I was willing to pay more for great service. Just following up with an update: A few days after the washer faucet was replaced, there seemed to be some water seepage. Not dripping, but definitely wet. George came out on the weekend to check it out. He thought the replacement faucet fixture might have been faulty, so replaced it. It was still seeping a bit. He felt that the threading on the nipple portion of the pipe may have corroded away some when Michael first replaced the faucet. He did not have that part with him, so Michael came out a few days later to replace the nipple portion and all was good. They did not charge me as George felt it could have been caught on the first replacement and he wanted to make good on our original repair. They both went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right. That kind of service is priceless. I will definitely be using Lifesaver Plumbing for additional plumbing services needed!
Had a really great experience with George and his team at Lifesaver Plumbing and Rooter today for a new Water Heater and having the Pressure Regulating Valve replaced. They showed up on time, were super friendly, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The work was done quickly and everything looks great. They made sure it was all working properly before leaving and cleaned up after themselves, which I definitely appreciated. Overall, just a smooth and stress-free experience. I’d gladly use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing help.
