I called this place to address a leak in one of our toilets. I was quoted $390 after inspection stating that the toilet has to be lifted up and wax seal ring replaced. I agreed for the repair and scheduled it for a few days later. I looked at the toilet a day later and noticed water coming from the top. Removing the lid I noticed that the water hos3 clip got jarred loose and was pointing upwards spraying water through the gap in the lid. I put the clip back in place and voila the problem was fixed. Canceled my appointment. Hard for me to believe an experienced plumber would miss such an obvious problem.
I had MC Plumbing put in a property line clean out. Jose and his team were highly efficient and professional. He started the job immediately and had it complete in 2 days. The job looks great. They also cleaned up everything and hauled away the extra dirt. His pricing was much more fair than all the others I had talked to. I had him pull a permit and the inspector loved the work as well. I will definitely call them again with any other plumbing needs I have in the future.
I highly recommend MC Plumbing, best prices in the Bay Area & amazing quality work. Jose is really professional & knowledgeable about plumbing. I called upon getting a tankless water heater installed, he recommended which tankless to go with & installed it the same day. I have had no problems with any of his work, would definitely call again for any plumbing services.
I did not have a great experience with MC Plumbing. We had a noise in our disposal, and: - First, we had to reschedule multiple times - When they arrived, they spent 10 minutes and removed a penny from the disposal. - We were charged $185 for this service. - I wrote back and them to reconsider the cost, based on the first two points. - There was no reply for A YEAR AND A HALF. - This week, they contacted me saying the payment was past due. - I replied with the above information, and asked them again to reconsider the charge. - They declined and insisted on full price, despite the above. It was a pretty frustrating experience, and while I appreciate them actually *fixing* the problem, the rest of it was pretty poor. I suggest you look elsewhere.
