Excellent service: making an appointment for a quote was easy and the technician was prompt and efficient. I decided to go ahead and I'm happy with the result: my water heater is fixed - the main issue was really my lack of understanding of how to change the filters. This was done properly and I received simple instructions to avoid problems going forward. The professionalism and the 3 months warranty were both very much appreciated. Great customer service n very helpful. I put in a request n in 5 mins I got a call from Sarah , from call center n she send Usman with an hour to my residence. Same day service. He inspected our water heater, explained we need new water heater. Next day at 8am , he was at our house to install the heater. Very happy with the service from all the staff. I will highly recommend their services.
My wife called this company to help with Shower door alignment, since I was out of town! Two Russian speaking guys (Ruslan and his colleague) came by and said that the job is very complicated and it costs at minimum $420 and if there are “complications” it might cost 6 hours of job, which is at $200+ per hour of job, basically rounding it up to over a $1000+! My wife senses that it was something fishy and said that she will seek second opinion! Once I have had time to look at that it was just the matter of loosening up two screws, aligning the door by 1/10 of an inch and tightening the screws, which took me like 5 minutes of diy! So it is either these two plumbers Ruslan and his friend are highly unethical and unprofessional, or the whole company is unethical, because when they were confronted they decided to justify this behavior as a usual way of conducting the business! I do not recommend rendering services from this company anywhere in San Mateo or Santa Clara county, because they definitely will try to the least up charge you, and at most simply sell you the service that is not required at all! P.s. The plumbers definitely tried to abuse the fact that they have been dealing with a woman, who doesn’t understand much about household fixes, basically profiling her gender!!! By the way they still managed to charge my wife $100 for “diagnostics that lead them to a conclusion to sell unnecessary and non existent services! Hope that this make their day better!
I don't usually leave reviews (in fact I think this is my first one) but this is well deserved. Called for an urgent repair, got a free technician checkup the next day, estimate was reasonable and options patiently explained, fixed within 1.5 hours and full cleanup included. Super happy with my service and now contemplating additional home improvements!
Today I had an emergency on main sewer line brokerage. Nikolay did a fantastic job on identifying the problem, finding the main clean-out and fixing the brokerage. I am amazed by the quality of service, the clear communication and the fast response on the emergency situation. I called several services before I reached PipeX. For others, the lead time all I got was from several hours to days. Nikolay answered me and replied with minutes lead time and transparent pricing on emergency charge. After I confirmed with him the service, he came within 10 minutes. He quickly identified it’s a main sewer brokerage issue. He started to search for the clear-out. Since my house is 1960s eichler, I already tried many times and couldn’t find the location of clearout. Nikolay provided next option to snake from toilet. He communicated with enough educational info and provided clear pricing for me to choose for next step. It’s much easier for me to make informed decisions. After we confirmed, he started to work on removing toilet and snaking from there. The quality is high in terms of cleaning, fixing, snaking, testing and reassuring. He did snake out a big tree root. He didn’t stop there. After several tests, he still thought the water floor was not fully fixed. Next was how magic came. My clearout cap is buried since it’s an old house. Only based on wet dirt clue and smell, he started to dig the dirts on one place in our side yard. He magically found the clear-out. With another round of snaking, he was able to bring out another big root. The water started draining smoothly. After that, Nikolay reinstalled our toilet and resealed it. Again his service was high quality. He even fixed our toilet installation issue. In the end, Nikolay cleaned all the mess with organized steps. He also provided right receipts with clear breakdown on the cost of the service. I really appreciate Nikolay’s high quality service, transparent communication, reasonable price and educational conversations. Especially he could come in irregular time to fix my emergency issue. I cannot wait to start my next services with PipeX.
