Had 3 different consecutive jobs done by Plumbing Geek because everything goes so well. They give you a 2 hour window for showing up and were able to show up early each time. The three different plumbers that I met with were knowledgeable, friendly and neat. Did the job efficiently and price was reasonable. Had new shut off valve installed, new irrigation pipe and new tub spout with diverter. Will definitely use them again.
The install was fairly uneventful, however the way the water heater stands in the pan places it at the edge of the support pillar on one end with room to move it closer to the right. The pan itself has "1.5 in lead way in back and water heater wiring harness, abuts with the pan in the front, leaving the wires exposed to accidental contact or damage, because the Bradford White provided cover will not fit without modification (cutting material away), not as designed nor intended by Bradford White. I reminded the tech that they forgot to put the protective shield and they returned with it, then offered to cut it to make it fit, which I felt was slipshod, & thus declined. Tech stated he did not have a larger (appropriate) pan with him at the time of install. I doubt this install is to Contra Costa County code.
I was very pleased with the quick response and overall professionalism of Plumbing Geeks. The fix to 2 vanity vessels made them as good as new. It took 1 hour and a rubber gasket to get it done. I was surprised, however, at the high cost of repair. My advice would be to get an estimate before hiring. Otherwise, I am happy with their work.
Marco and Gary were very responsive to my call. Gary called back in for an earlier service schedule. Michael was thorough and professional with his work, diagnosing the plumbing drainage problem and was Immediately resolved. Michael explained step by step the process until resolution. The charge is reasonable and I was granted a new client discount which is greatly appreciated. Will keep the company for future need.
I contacted Mark by phone on 6-9-26 about our water heater, which was flaming out and not working, so we had no hot water in the house. He picked up immediately, and had his associate Michael out to our house early on 6-10-26. A few hours later, we have a completely new water heater and it works great! Michael was great, pleasant, and hard working, and clearly knew what he was doing. He was efficient and very helpful, and did a great job. And the price for the whole job was quite reasonable. Overall, I could not be happier with Plumbing Geek, will use them again, and will recommend them to all my friends!
