Sean has been our go-to person for plumbing issues, and he is always responsive, reliable, and helpful. Our recent kitchen drain problem turned out to be more complicated than initially expected, but when it resurfaced, he arranged for the plumber to return promptly and stayed engaged until the underlying drain line and cleanout could be properly investigated. We especially appreciate his clear communication, professionalism, and willingness to keep troubleshooting rather than rushing through the job. We’ve consistently had a positive experience and would happily recommend Sean and his team.
I’m a SF landlord who is very glad to have found Sean—a real human plumber with deep experience and roots in San Francisco. He knew exactly what the situation needed and what it didn’t, gave me a base price for the obvious repair with a “worst case” number if there were problems inside the wall. He showed up on time, then was able to do the work a day early when he had a cancellation—my tenant was happy to get the job done sooner than later. Very important for me that my tenants reported a good experience and felt comfortable with Sean in their home. He finished up and did not need to go into the wall after all. His price was much better than a big corporate plumbing company whose AI kept sending me “how did we do?” emails when I had not hired them. Sean’s number is permanently in my contacts, nice to know I will not need to call multiple plumbers for estimates next time—just get Sean. He’s the real deal, highly recommend!
I was truly happy to have the assistance of Sean, the owner of Red Wrench Plumbing, who came to assist me during a major plumbing issue at my home. My toilet was leaking water all over the place, and Sean came in and changed the parts that needed to be fixed in under 20 minutes. He came in the day after I called, was punctual, pleasant, professional, and charged me a fair price for his work. I highly recommend his services!
I found RW on NextDoor after I got frustrated with the big name companies. With RW you deal directly with Sean, the owner and primary plumber. I’ve used them several times now and been pleased with the results.
I wish I could give 10 stars. I've lived in San Francisco for over 20 years and never have I met a more highly skilled, honest, and customer service oriented plumber than Sean. Over the years I just resigned to thinking that unless you had a family member with these skills, the plumbers in SF were just going to take advantage of you, especially when you're in a bind. But not Sean. He responded quickly (though he's a busy man, given the quality he delivers). He even responded to questions AFTER the service was done. Just simply amazing, can't say enough good things. And what a nice human being. HIRE HIM!
