They brought the wrong part and what should have taken 20 minutes wound up taking over two hours. That doesn't bother me too much but they charged $525.00 for removing the shower handles and installing new cartridges. Compared to some other plumbing work that I had done recently, that is ridiculously expensive. I made the mistake of not asking for an estimate in advance. On the other hand, they didn't give me any warning. The crew and quality of the work were fine but the invoice feels like robbery.
I’ve had a few plumbing issues over the past year and a half and have needed to call Reed Plumbing several times. Each experience has been consistently positive. They are reasonably priced, very professional, and always quick to respond whenever an issue came up. I worked primarily with Marco, who took the time to evaluate the recurring problems and ultimately came up with a long-term solution to prevent issues going forward. TL;DR: Good folks, will use again. I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel, and so short a toilet for the family. Flush the toilet, and realize I'm standing in a puddle ... bad. Yeah, it's "just" a wax ring, but toilets are heavy and wax rings a hassle and, dangit, I need it done *right* when it's the only toilet I have right now. Marco was understanding and had a crew out very quickly, took care of it, boom. Not cheap, nobody is any more, but reasonable, and didn't try to upsell me the "platinum package" like a certain other outfit here in town in the yellow trucks. Reed's folks made sure the toilet was in good order, adjusted it and sealed everything up. I'll be using them again in the future.
Used Reed plumbing my main was backed up and after our remodel I guess one of the bathroom was done wrong with another plumbing company. Reed plumbing came super professional and fixed our problem. Will be using them in the future. Highly recommend them!
Called on Saturday about a clean out that kept on getting plugged up. They showed up the next working day on Monday bright and early and spent 2 hours blasting grease all the way down to the street with a pressure washer. No more clogs when running a couple gallons of water! Hopefully won't need their services again but if I do they're local and I trust their work!
