Giovani is one of the best plumbers I have worked with, he is very efficient in solving the problems. In early December of 2025, I called his late in the afternoon for a leak in the bathroom and he made it to my rental house in the evening the same day despite he already had a long day at other customers' places. He also told me other issues in the house that need fixes. Deeply appreciate his service. Highly recommend him and his company.

Giovani is simply the best! He knows his work and does not charge you an arm and a leg. He is responsive, honest and punctual. I really appreciate how he explains the problem in layman terms so that I fully understand the issue. This is a special shout out for the awesome work he did a few years ago, which is long over due.... I wanted to get a bidet installed and had a special request which was for it to be connected from the sink vanity so that I can have hot and cold functionality. Giovani listened to my idea and quoted me a reasonable price to do the work. I was very particular about being able to check if there might be a leak in the future since the connection was coming through a wall.. and also bidets are known to start leaking. Giovani came up with a brilliant idea of not sealing the cover plate which allowed me to check between the wall for any leaks. It's been more than 4 years since he installed this and there are no leaks. Just goes to show he knows his craft well. He also replaced toilets and fixed some leaks around the house. Giovani is my go to person for any plumbing projects/repairs.

Woke up to water pooling under the kitchen sink and no clue where it was coming from classic Saturday. Called San Jose Drain and Main and they had someone out same day, which honestly I wasn't expecting. The guy found the leak fast, showed me exactly what was going on under there instead of just throwing parts at it, and gave me a straight price before starting any work. No upsell, no scare tactics. Fixed it clean and even wiped down the area when he was done. Fair price for the headache they saved me. These are the folks I'm calling next time something goes sideways.

After having another plumber come out and overcharge and not finish the job of repairing a main line water leak, Giovanni was able to quickly do the job. He is very knowledgeable and patiently explained everything before starting the work. Most importantly he is very professional and charges a very reasonable rate. Call Giovanni first and you won't have to call another plumber later.

I've never written a review before but Giovani did such a superb job that I had to! My house of horrors from the 1960s has seen more than it's fair share of plumbers coming through but hands down, San Jose Drain and Main is the real deal. My 13 year old son (who doesn't know his own strength) broke the shower handle. Unfortunately, it wasn't as simple as replacing the shower handle as the shower cartridge was stuck and the valve needed to be replaced. I contacted 7 plumbers before I reached out to Giovani and they all said the tile had to be broken in order to access the valve and replace it. Giovani said he wasn't sure if he had to break the tile but he would try to avoid it. He ran through his proposed solution with me and it made sense so I had Giovani come back another day after he bought the parts. He came on time as promised and took out the old cartridge and valve and welded the new valve into a very tight space (see picture) without having to break the tile! He gave me a quote at the beginning of the job and even though it took way longer than anticipated (he was here from 2 pm to 7:30 pm), he still stuck to his original quote. Now, that's what I call service and a job well done! Thank you Giovani and San Jose Drain and Main!!!
