I’d definitely recommend Studio Belmont if you’re looking for high-quality pieces and lots of design options. They have a huge selection of hardware and home accessories. I originally stopped in just to look for some modern cabinet pulls, but ended up finding several options I hadn’t seen anywhere else. The showroom displays are also really helpful because they make it easy to picture how everything will actually look in a real space.
I really wanted to like this place because they have a huge selection of supplies and pretty much everything you could need for a project. Unfortunately, my experience completely ruined it for me. The person running the store was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. On top of that, I felt uncomfortable the entire time because I was being followed while browsing. It honestly made me feel racially targeted, which is not something anyone should have to deal with while just trying to shop. It’s a shame, because the inventory is impressive, but the prices are on the higher side, and the atmosphere made it not worth it at all. I won’t be returning.
I always try to support smaller, local businesses, but the customer service here makes it impossible. You'd think in a tight knit shop the staff would be attentive, but instead, I was completely ignored the moment I walked in. It felt very clear that I was being judged, I suspect it was because of how I was dressed or because of my ethnicity, and they simply decided I wasn't worth their time. The person working the counter acted like my being there was a massive interruption to whatever else they were doing. I ended up leaving empty handed. I'll gladly drive a little further to a different store next time.
First time here and this is a great place to shop for lighting and hardware. They have a wide selection of knobs, pulls, and other pieces, and everything is displayed so you can easily see what it looks like before buying. It makes browsing really easy. Definitely recommend!
