Rick from The Plumbing Two is hands-down the most responsive and reliable plumber we’ve ever worked with. He’s saved us on two separate occasions and has completely earned our trust. When we had a major leak, Rick showed up the next day—on a Sunday—and quickly discovered the issue was far more involved than anyone had realized. We’ve had plumbing problems for over 15 years that no one could properly diagnose, but Rick and his crew tracked it down. They opened up the ceiling, rerouted pipes, cleared clogs, and replaced sections that were rusted and corroded. For the first time in over a decade, everything works exactly as it should. The leak had caused significant water damage, so we had to bring in a restoration company. We were leaving town the very next day, but Rick completely handled the situation. We trusted him with a house key, and he coordinated daily visits with the restoration crew, keeping us updated through frequent texts. His communication was exceptional. Rick also personally showed up to the appointment with our insurance assessor, explaining everything, and sharing videos and photos. Every time a new issue came up, Rick managed to get a full crew onsite immediately. He and his team were professional, respectful, and detail-oriented—cleaning up after themselves, protecting our belongings, and treating our home with care. Later, when the restoration company couldn’t reassemble things or reconnect our washer and dryer, Rick and three of his crew were back at our house within 90 minutes. He personally made sure everything was reattached, tested, and leak-free before leaving. Rick truly goes above and beyond. After getting some pretty serious sticker shock from another well-known Bay Area plumbing company, I started asking around and several neighbors recommended The Plumbing Two. Funny enough, they had called them after getting the same sticker shock from the other company. I reached out and they were able to come by that same evening, which was especially impressive since it was a Friday night. They took the time to look everything over, explain what needed to be done, and walk me through different options. I never felt pressured. The other company’s approach felt more like, “Here’s the quote, take it or leave it.” The Plumbing Two actually took the time to explain things and help me understand where I could save money. One thing that surprised me was how much the cost of materials has gone up in just the last couple of years. It’s not cheap, but at least I felt like I was getting honest information and fair advice. The job was finished sooner than expected, and everyone on the crew was great to work with. They were professional, respectful, and always willing to answer questions. One thing that really stood out to me was watching the owner work alongside his sons. You could tell he was teaching them the trade while also encouraging them to pursue their education. As a customer, it was nice to see that kind of family business atmosphere and work ethic. Hopefully I won’t need a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do, these are the people I’ll call. Just hire them! Ricky is amazingly responsive, almost too responsive if that's even possible. It's so difficult to get anyone to respond these days that Ricky's interaction is really unbelievable. He evaluated the job correctly and stuck to his original estimate. Ricky's on the job communication was just as good. He sent pics and video of the entire job and the work looks great, and the water is flowing great. On thing to keep in mind is they wanted to use zelle only and charged 4% to us a credit card. Not sure that would have made a difference to use them but it was a small surprise. Thank you, The Plumbing Two!
I've used Rick for a while now and he always goes above and beyond. Today he worked some magic on a key valve for a fireplace and saved me a lot of time and money! He shows up on time, has great workmanship, and great communication! I'd recommend him to anyone who values quality!
At first I was skeptical, but Rick and his team were amazing! They came in, found the problem, and fixed it all within about an hour! He explained the process well and his work was flawless and he was even cool to talk with as well. Nice guy, nice team, nice work and an amazing price! Definitely a 5 star.
